Everything was so perfect. The service was impeccable from the front desk to the concierge. We got our room upgraded by Roike. The location is perfect and just 10 mins walk to the closet ferry pier. The room was quiet, clean and we enjoyed the bar area a lot. It offers another choice of quiet stay and enjoy a perfect getaway on Xianghu, which is away from the hustle and bustle in Xihu. I will definitely come back next spring and try their villas.

The service is super good, especially the private housekeeper Xiaoying, who wants to be ahead of the guests in everything from before check-in to check-out. It's good for swimming and it is not crowded. You just need to follow the openning ours which are not throughout the whole day, that's a bit annoying. I would welcome openning the whole day with completely free access. The hotel staff was just briliant. They had very nice comminication, servis absolutely top and they very helpful to give any advice or help to organise trips to interesting places. I'm planning to come again to Anji because there are a lot of interessting natural places and I'm planning to stay in this hotel again.

The hotel takes advantage of the surrounding natural environment, with mountains, lakes (reservoirs), bamboo forests, good air, starry skies at night, and camping sites, rose gardens, water activities, and children's play facilities. The day is very well organized. The cabin we stayed in has two floors, warm lighting, and is very cozy. The children call returning to the room ”home”. There are many facilities in the room, and surprisingly, the quality of the toothbrush is very good! We ate at the Bailu Chinese Restaurant, the environment and service were very good, and the pan-fried sirloin beef was particularly good (I remembered to take a photo halfway through the meal, and it was quickly finished). Wow! This place was really a good choice we made when booking it on ctrip , the place decoration is super beautiful and modern , also is in a very quiet zone close to a creek and bamboo forest all around , super calm and nice . The staff was beyond friendly , attentive and professional , they made us feel like at home . And the food omg was amazing , the cuisine was Chinese but not normal Chinese , it was a local style but super natural , everything tasted super fresh and like they were using the ingredients from their farm. I highly recommend this place to people looking for a getaway from the big city , here is everything you expect from moganshan but better because the rooms were better that in my own home lol, internet worked perfect , also the showery and tv all perfect . We came by trains from Deqing and they help us arrange the driver to pick us up , highly recommend this place !

We grabbed the tail end of summer vacation and picked a weekday to bring our kids for vacation. Our family booked 2 different rooms, Half Mountain Hot Spring and Cliff Residence. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean and a good size and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We ate Western food in the bar every evening (burgers, chips etc) and the food was great. The pool was lovely (the jacuzzi is very warm) and my daughter loved the play room in the basement. Two things to consider: firstly, the boat trip is only short and involves either a cable car ride or a steep walk (I don’t like heights, so we opted for the walk and it was pleasant but would not be suitable for the elderly or very young children). Secondly, we did not know we had to book our taxi to the station the night before we checked-out, so a member of the team eventually booked one for us, as my Didi app would not get us a car, with the hotel being so far out. Overall, a lovely place and we will definitely return soon.

That being said, our stay was not as good as we had expected because the bedroom and the restaurant were freezing cold. When we first arrived in our room the heating was off so we had to turn it on, which was fine, however 5h later it was still only 17°c in the room and it was already getting dark… We complained and the staff kindly offered to upgrade us to a room which was supposed to be warmer and it was, but only by one or two degrees depending on the hour of the day. The restaurant was only 10°c so we had to eat with jackets and hats on. The floor heating had not been turned on yet unfortunately. So if you consider staying at this hostel during Autumn/Winter make sure to ask if the floor heating is on before booking.
