Armada Istanbul Old City Hotel Map, Address, Transportation & Nearest Stations and Airport

We were doing a business meeting in the hotel, contact with the staff was not very transparent. After sending several emails no response was received, so we ended up calling the hotel directly and even after that it was not very straightforward to get to the agreement. But in the end everything went well, meeting facilities were very good, roof top room, restaurant and a nice service, but a bit overpriced.

As a solo traveeler location is everything tp explore a night or two in old city. Just 3-4 mins walking to Topkapi & Hagia sophia/Blue mosque Lovely hidden entrace to cut off the hectic street (which is very nice for having privacy in touristy area) Nice room, clean, friendly & helpful staff Well decorated in ottoman style, I love it.

Hotel staff are professional and helpful. Location is also superb. Nonetheless we are disappointed that certain facilities, like the terrace, are closed “in preparation for high season”. There is no swimming pool at this establishment either - while the hotel provides shuttle transport to their other location on the Bosphorus it is at least half an hour bus ride away. This makes it not the best value for the money in our opinion. The famous view of the Blue Mosque is also fully blocked by a taller Seven Hills cafe nearby. You can find better value elsewhere. And don’t go if scenic views or swimming pool are important to you.

The room I arranged at the beginning was close to the roadside, and the next day I changed to the one next to the strait. It is very good. I will stay in the hotel and restaurant next time. The atmosphere in the evening is very good, and the breakfast is very good. It is as expected and is in charge of us. The butler is very nice, great guy

Luxury accommodation, details are the real thing - but be careful about pet management This luxury hotel undoubtedly provides guests with a feast for the eyes and senses. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel that every detail has been carefully designed and polished. Whether it is advanced facilities or exquisite decorations, it reveals an indescribable elegance and luxury. In terms of service, the hotel staff showed extremely high professionalism and patient and meticulous attitude. They are always able to respond to guests' needs quickly and provide thoughtful services, making people feel warm and comfortable. However, in terms of dining experience, breakfast and dinner performance is a bit bland and failed to fully meet the expectations of matching the overall level of the hotel. In addition, a small issue worth noting is that there are cats walking around in the restaurant from time to time. Although these cats add a bit of vitality and fun to the hotel, they also raise concerns about hygiene and safety for guests. This concern is especially evident when cats may come into contact with tables, cutlery and food. In general, this luxury hotel has done a great job in many aspects and provided guests with an unforgettable accommodation experience. However, in order to ensure the hygiene and safety of the dining environment, it is recommended that the hotel make more stringent and detailed regulations on pet management. I believe that after solving this problem, the hotel will surely become the perfect accommodation choice in the minds of more people.

We stayed at Basilissis Hotel for 1 night. When we reached the hotel, a friendly gentleman welcomed us. He was very helpful by answering all our questions about the city and transportation. In terms of location, the hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to many places such as Gülhane Park, Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and the remaining places such as Sirkeci Train Station, Gülhane Tram Stop, Eminönü Pier are only a short walk away. You can reach it by public transportation. After a difficult and anxious process of choosing a hotel, we were really pleased when we got to the room. The room was exactly the same as the images. The bed linen, duvet, pillowcases and towels were all really clean and smelled nice. The bathroom was also very clean, the shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, soap and shower cap were nice. I did not encounter any problems such as mold, moisture or rust anywhere in the room. We did not have the opportunity to try the breakfast, we had to check out. We were very pleased in every sense. We would like to thank the hotel managers and staff, we hope they maintain their quality.
