We chose to stay here whilst attending a wedding party with relatives. We had struggled to find a hotel in Groningen as there was a famous band playing and accommodation was either scarce or expensive. So although a little drive away, this hotel fitted the bill. There is free parking for guests and this is located around the hotel block. The reception staff were friendly and booking in was convenient and hassle free. The rooms are well presented and clean, with shower rooms and tea and coffee making facilities available. Within the complex there are a number of bars and restaurants as well as play areas and an arcade area. Although we never participated, there was entertainment and children’s activities on offer as well as swimming, bikes to hire, a spa and bowling. In our country we would call this a holiday camp rather than a hotel. The buffet breakfast was lovely and lots of outdoor seating available. We loved our stay here and although brief, we would consider coming back should we have a need to visit The Netherlands in the future. Thank you 🙏
It was terrible! If I call about bowling around the afternoon because I read you can't book online and if you check out that everything is full, I want to ask if it's really like that. They told me on the phone that this weekend is not busy and that there's a free place to bowl. And even if it's full, they'll find a different solution, so yesterday we arrived, We want to go bowling can't be full, next day Sunday it's full, and massage can't be all booked. We were not the only one, there was also a family with 2 children, lady, I think the manager or something like that (a little older short hair with a glass) very unconscious she told them - full is full, you're sorry. What answer is that? The father of the children wanted money back because there was really nothing to do with kids . They pay almost 700 e for a weekend with children and they can do nothing because there is no place, but they pay for it? ! The manager says she only has six places to bowl and what? The evening I ask again what solution they have, because if I call, this is what they told me phone, she says she can't do anything! If I know, I would never come here. There are four places in Preston Palace and everyone can bowl even in the weekend there is never such a problem. I am so disappointed that it was really a waste of money. We're riding 200 km to go alone to the pool? Truly, if you don't want bad experience, don't go here, choose another hotel where they're going to treat you as you deserved.

Very large hotel. Spacious room and bathroom with bath, separate shower and toiletries. Sliding door gives access to shared outdoor space (balcony). We had food in the bar and we really enjoyed it, reasonably priced. Pool table and dartboard in bar area but slightly tucked away. The pool and wellness facilities are free and really well maintained. Very clean and lots of choice: salt sauna, herb sauna, Finnish sauna, hamam, infrared sauna, foot baths and snow shower. Towels are provided and there are free lockers in the changing rooms. Changing rooms are not mixed. Enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at! The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. The spa area offers some amahzing saunas and even a real snow shower to cool off. The room to relaxe offers free water and a fireplace. The pool has a nice temperature and is of the highes standard. Just the spa alone is worth visiting. But dinner is also an experience! Very tasty and good food! The breakfast is the same. I will be back!

Horrible service. Unhelpful and quite frankly rude. I had emailed the hotel to say that we would be arriving after 11pm for check in. I received a polite reply that said, ” That is no problem”. I continued to keep the hotel informed va email once we left Amsterdam. They did not inform us that there was a fesival in thier town and that it would be difficult to get to the hotel. After driving around for an hour and asking several people, I phoned the Hotel directly. The man who I spoke too was the most unfriendly, unsympathetic and unhelpful person. He basically said that it would be impossible to get to the hotel and that he could not help us. When I pressed for more information, he suggested I park the car anywhere that I can find a place and walk to the hotel. When I asked how far away we were and how long it would take to to walk to the hotel, he laughed and said that it would take us all night. Very disappointing and disheartening when we had 2 rooms booked and paid 691 euros (345.50 euros per room; 1 comfort double and 1 comfort twin). We arrived approximately 15 minutes later (around 3am!). I explained that the service was terrible in getting there. They tried to blame it on all the drunk people at the festival when in fact, the service from the hotel was unsatisfactory. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good (at the restaurant across the street) but we were only there for a few hours. The service of the staff in the morning made up for the unacceptable, rude, unprofessional and unhelpful man from the night before. He should not be working in the tourism industry. Disappointingly, this was our first time staying at this hotel and it will be the last. Which is a shame as we like to support small, family run businesses. I do not recommend staying here during the weekend that we stayed in June. We were there for the MotoGP and will stay elsewhere next time. I suggest you do the same.

Located in the center of the small city of ASSEN, it is close to the train station, and it is convenient to enter and exit; because it is late, it does not feel the excitement of this city center. The front desk is in the corner of the restaurant downstairs, saying that it is because of the renovation; when the elevator is upstairs, the elevator is a manual file, you must always let go to your floor. The room was short and crowded, but the decoration was a bit special; there was a wall-mounted air conditioner that was always on, blowing out a bit of sour cold wind, I pulled it out; but the floor heating facilities in the bathroom were still warm.

I had never eaten in this beautiful hotel, except for a nice lunch long ago. It was 1 January and try to find more. The family hotel. It was just looking in the big room but with some help we found a pleasant table near the window. It cost some difficulty to draw attention from the service but the food was fine. We had a vegetarian dish, and both were good, and the portions were also of a sufficient size, and the price was not countered.

A typical Dutch resort hotel with attentive and considerate service. The hotel features an art gallery in the lobby, which is filled with works by famous artists from all over the Netherlands. The hotel restaurant offers local specialties.
