Lovely place to stay at, a bit overpriced but overall we had a wonderful experience. Lost a few points on the several delays we had. Both from room service and team. The main manager gifted us a lovely bouquet though and made us feel warm. The manager at Locatelli, Mario, his team, and Chief gave us the best experience ever!!! We have returned several times to eat there and they took care of us every single time. Preparing amazing vegan/vegetarian food and Apu, our waiter, ensured that everything was amazing. The spa facilities are unique, we enjoyed all areas and the salt pool but the massage was so-so, for the price we payed. The breakfast area was very loud, waiters were arguing and it was very noisy. The constant music blasting everywhere was also not aligned with the serenity that this place aims to create. We were on the top floors and we could still hear the pool music until late hours. We will return back to Locatelli for sure. As far as staying there..we might give it another try.

It is a hotel that provides you a perfect relaxed atmosphere. Kind and professional staff, amazing rooms, hi tech in the rooms, pools, gym, restaurants and bars great. Every hotel and every international brand has cons and pos. The only thing i can say for parklane Cyprus is that made our holidays really special. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Very good hotel, this is the best hotel I have stayed in Cyprus in 8 years, the service is indescribable, the a**osphere is great, I was upgraded to a suite, the location is excellent, there is a beach, but I recommend the 4 large swimming pools, super clean, and stylish

Just recently back from a weeks stay with family. Very nice grounds and while the beach area is not huge or has much sand, the sea was very clear, calm and clean (blue flag rated) the calm waves made swimming really enjoyable and relaxing , lovely pool areas too and the separate divide of pools and beach areas for children and adults is good and for those who understandably may not want to be around noisy children ! Very good kids club with daily activities and staff who interact and get involved, Tiffany , Stephanie and Theodora were amazing with my daughter , thank you !! children at the club even got a little gift bag with toys ! If you can, I would advise room with balcony, we asked for this as the rooms facing the main road were slightly noisy and not very pleasant views looking out onto a busy main road. Nice path along the resort for people to walk along , we did this to visit other restaurants at other hotels along the beach , to your left you can also walk to ruins and another beach ( unfortunately we did not get the time to do this, really wish we did now from what others have said), also approx. 15 mins car/taxi journey to the main town/marina, well worth a a visit, if also like us you like to get out of the resort too. Overall really nice hotel with friendly staff and facilities, only one slight disappointment was sometimes we felt a little rushed to eat our breakfast as we like to go down later / towards the end and a few times we were told we had to finish up as are preparing for lunch soon (whereas previous 5* hotels we stayed at this has never been the case and never felt rushed to finish up), also a member of staff told us we were not allowed to bring food up with us to the room, despite us trying to explain my husband was in his room, he still proceeded to tell us not to do this , I responded and made it quite clear we were not happy about that I felt he needed some training in customer service, he eventually backed off ( was like being told off), as a previous member of staff offered to take it to our rooms..as would be expected in a 5 start hotel. Concierge and baggage handlers very nice and helpful , especially Michael (i think his name), who has worked their for 35 years ! really chatty and helpful guy ,!
Just recently returned from a lovely relaxing week at the Amathus beach hotel, our second visit. The hotel has changed a lot from our last visit with the addition of the newly built residences. As we were visiting with friends this time we contacted the hotel prior to our visit to request rooms near to one another on a high floor and we were given lovely rooms on the 4th floor with amazing sea views. As this was an early BIG birthday treat we arrived to find a bottle of bubbly, cake and birthday card waiting for us in our room which was a lovely gesture, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. We were on half board and alternated between eating at the evening buffet and the lunchtime A La Carte restaurant which suited us perfectly. The food was always very enjoyable and the staff very attentive. The hotel overall is very stylish with plenty of comfy seating, both inside and out together with loads of sun beds and umbrellas set in lovely manicured gardens. This really is a lovely hotel where you can totally relax and enjoy the wonderful Amathus hospitality. A big thank you to ALL THE STAFF for making our holiday so enjoyable. We hope to return. Sue and Ian Hayes.

The hotel was built a long time ago, it doesn’t look very straight from the outside, but the rooms are reinvigorated, the carpet in the corridors is new and not worn, there are magnetic locks on the doors. But honestly, the hotel does not pull 5 *. What did you like: - welcome bottle of wine and apples - chocolates on the bed every night - change of towels throughout the day - good shampoos Did not like: - an outsider can calmly come in for breakfast and no one will ask where he is from, and they will politely take him to a table at (because our friend just came, had breakfast and went to the beach) - the construction site is near and it’s not said anywhere, but there is noise from it - the floor in the rooms must be requested to wash - the beach is dirty, full of cigarette butts - weak animation - if you do not live on all inclusive conditions, then in a cafe on the beach the average cost of a meal is 8 euros, coffee 4 euros, smoothies - 6 euros. But for all inclusive there are restrictions - 2 naptanv a day per person - modest territory, nowhere to walk - the hotel in the distance is both plus and minus, quiet and there are no engines, but because there are only 3 restaurants nearby, and a taxi is expensive, about 1 euro km, even more expensive in the evening, you have to go there - there is no supermarket nearby, only a minimarket where you can buy something on the little things

Good hotel with good location. Recommend this hotel, likes the service, breakfast and territory. But to travel around you need a car

The hotel has convenient transportation and a superior location. The Mediterranean-style landscape is very beautiful, with a wide view, complete functions, and a very good service attitude👍, clean, tidy and comfortable

The standard of a four-star hotel is on the newly renovated side, so although the hotel is not new, the room is very new and clean. It is on the beach and the surrounding environment is also good, but the room faces inland

This is a lovely boutique hotel in the village of Kalavasos. It being so early in the season the hotel wasn't full a lot of the time and consequently there were some service issues which is why only 4 stars. Our room was not cleaned on 3 days. Twice because the one cleaner didn't get to us until 5pm when we had just got back from a day out so we sent her away! The other time was apparently her day off and no replacement. This lovely lady was also expected to help in the kitchen and restaurant at breakfast and dinner so not surprised she needed a day off! As it was quiet we had to order a place at dinner in advance for a set menu each day. Despite this, dinner seemed to be served (and cooked?) by just one person rushing about with long waits. Said person was then seen at reception later on. The food was of acceptable standard. Everyone was very nice and tried to be helpful but clearly they were overstretched. Trying to order a coffee in the lounge after dinner was nigh impossible. Either they didn't speak English or couldn't work the coffee machine! The library lounge is lovely and cosy with an open fire. However despite it being extremely cold at the first week in March was never lit, so guests were all sitting round with their coats and scarves on! The hotel in general wasn't warm (our room was North facing) and the hot water was a bit variable. The room decor was quirky and individual but would not describe it as luxurious. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless but maybe better for a summer visit.

Our ten days at the Library Hotel in Kalavasos, Cyprus, were absolutely wonderful. It was a nice change from the hustle of city life. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home. The sound of the water in the pool and the chirping of the birds made the atmosphere extra relaxing, something we really enjoyed. After a busy day of exploring the island, it was lovely to come back to our hotel. We were especially charmed by Mary, the cleaning lady, whose smile brightened our day, and Ariadna, who treated us like old friends. Ariadna's kindness and helpfulness were truly appreciated, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making our stay special. The village of Kalavasos was also a pleasant surprise. With its cute shop, cozy cafe, and traditional taverns, it felt like a place full of peace and charm. Cats were everywhere, making it even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful getaway.”
