I think this is the best hotel in Johannesburg. I would say the Saxon far superior than the four seasons west cliff as the service and attention to detail by staff is top of the line? The restaurant is amazing. I would personally like to thank Sabelo Ngubeni for his amazing service during my visit to SA.

The hotel environment is beautiful. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant once before, and I wanted to experience it once. The location of the restaurant is great, the view is expansive, the autumn scenery is beautiful, and the meal is also very good. The room is spacious and comfortable. The room I booked has two balconies with beautiful views on both sides. The attitude of the service staff is very good, and the service is very considerate and meticulous. Very recommended to stay.

This is a very nice small boutique hotel near the Wanderers Cricket Club. Large comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens, two pools, a quiet restaurant and great staff. Nothing is any trouble and it is a security site so you can relax inside. The area of Melrose is not bad during the day but walking at night is not recommended. The Peech Hotel is recommended for style, quiet, service and location.

Booked at short notice due to no water supply in my home neighborhood. The Houghton hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping me to extend my stay when water supply issues persisted at home and hotel was near capacity. I always had a great experience when coming here with my employer for conferences and strategy sessions, and the hotel maintains its high standards. Thank you yo the staff for making me as comfortable as possible in my makeshift temporary home!

By far, the best 5 star service that you will find in Johannesburg. The staff alone are professional enough for you to be motivated for your stay. The greeting from some of the first class managers including Bella, and Dingaan was exceptional! Then, we had a birthday trip planned, the senior manager Monica had arranged some incredible welcome surprises, and that just made the trip that much more enjoyable. Next, the restaurant, was busy from day through the night, with the best food, and I can tell you they had some excellent vegetarian options. Anywhere that we wanted to go, the staff were always on hand to accommodate with excellent service. I will be making another trip before the end of the year, it was that good.
