We highly recommend this hotel for visitors to Jacksonville or the Mayo Clinic. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great location. Parking was no problem. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to this area.

We arrived at Courtyard after a 4 hour drive. They couldn't find my reservation, and although he looked the front desk staff was dismissive. I moved out of the way and made anther reservation. The room was horrible, dirty, itchy, smelly, hair on the bed, sink and soap dish, the bed sunk to the ground and was horrible! I woke up exhausted from barely sleeping. We went across he street to our appointment and came back to the room at 10:30 , check out is 12 to find out room door opened. We did not check out and were going to do some work at the dirty table before we left for our drive home. I would never suggest this hotel to anyone. I know its extremely convenient but at what price.

Hotel location is quite good. Close to the beach. Go to the game and go directly to the boat. It is a round-trip ticket. Breakfast is delicious and not expensive. Asians should like it. In addition to parking, it is a little difficult. Other facilities are not bad.

This hotel surpassed my expectations! It was extremely clean and quiet even with two wedding parties. The view from my room at sunrise was so beautiful! Definitely stay here if you're in town, you won't regret it

Visiting from tampa to seek shelter from hurricane and the staff couldn’t have been better. Property underwent a total remodel and looks great. Matt at the front desk was very helpful and Elvie in the lounge made us feel like at home. Huge plus they don’t charge for parking
The room is clean and tidy, the environment is very good, there is a small lake next to it, and the hotel steak is very good.

I'm a Gold level Marriott member so I write this with genuine disappointment, especially as outside of this event this was mr new 'go-to' hotel when I needed to come to Jacksonville for medical at Mayo. I'm in my 2nd of a 2 night stay. I had a had a medical procedure this morning which required putting me under. I returned to my room and rested for a few hours and then found the bathroom heavily flooded. I went to the front desk to ask for help and no one was there. I waited and some guy told me to hold on, he'd go find someone. Eventually, a front desk guy named Melvin came out who was unproductive and oddly discourteous in a way that was unearned and about him. I told the problem and after some confusion he was able to contact engineering to come meet us at the front desk. While waiting, I asked him if he could see if there was availability for another room. He said ”No, I can't move you until engineering says the problem can't be fixed. Plus, we're pretty full.”I said ”yes but if you could just check if availability exists as I've just had a medical procedure and am exhausted,” a d held up my bandaged srm from where the IV just was hours ago. He then said no, rolled his eyes, and argued with me which was weird because I wasn't arguing with him. The Palmene the engineer arrived and asked my room number, 723, and he immediately told Melvin and me no one is supposed to be in that room as there is a roof leak which isn't his fault because the roof guys hadn't fixed it yet. I asked Mel in if he could now check if other rooms were available? He said no, ot until the engineer goes with me to the room. I asked ”why nit just give me a key now to a new room so I could directly pack, switch rooms and then return the key to the flooded room? Palmene the Engineer agreed and started explaining and literally mid-sentence Melvin started helping someone else who randomly walked up to ask a question about parking. I asked Melvin to please resolve one problem at a time and he refused. It was really sincerely weird; rude in such a misplaced way that it was farcical. So Palmene and I went to the room, he immediately knew where the roof leak in the bathroom was, repeated that the room should never have been occupied nor I put in it. He kindly ran to get me new room keys and a luggage dolly so I could pack to move. He returned with them and helped solve the problem and apologized for Melvin acting rudely and unconstructively. After packing and switching rooms I took the dolly down to the lobby and Melvin came up to tell me i could have just it in the hallway instead of nust saying thanks for returning it. This is a flooded room on a medical procedure day exasperated a really incompetent front desk guy with a poor attitude.

Finally! a property that lives up to Marriott standards. The high cleaning standard and calm atmosphere is evident from the moment you walk in the door. The staff is top notch! The room was well stocked with clean towels. The sheets were fresh and clean, the pillows were clean, and the duvet was actually white! As the week went on we noticed floor tiles that had popped up in our room and corners that needed to be caulked, but those are minor things compared to the quiet clean environment we enjoyed. This property is close to Mayo Clinic and has a shuttle back and forth. The hotel is connected with people who can help out if you need in-suite care during clinic procedures. The hotel even has a lounge on one of the floors where you can relax, and regroup after a procedure. A large guest laundry room is available. Complimentary breakfast is available. The bar counter has light dinner options available in the evenings from 5-10. Would definitely stay here again!!

This hotel’s location is excellent. Restaurants are close by. There’s a lovely walking path used by hotel guests and apartment dwellers. It’s peaceful and quiet. The room was comfortable and nice. Mr. Javier Gill, the General Manager, was extremely helpful and professional. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great environment and facilities, the staff are very simple, and there are staff waiting for a stay in the middle of the night.

Stayed here last weekend with a friend of mine going down to St Augustine. Checked in and everything looked new and smelled great. Got on in the elevator to multiple guys with their shirts off and beers in their hands that had obviously had a few. Thought it could have been they were going to the pool but it was raining so not sure that was the case. Room was what I would expect from a 3 star hotel, clean and basic. Went out for the evening and came back to loud music in the parking lot that latter seemed to find its was to the room down the hall. Loud music was played through out the remainder of the evening even after a call to the front desk. Woke up to and headed down stairs to the complementary breakfast and the elevator smelled of beer that was obviously spilled overnight and not cleaned before guest were to leave the next morning. Breakfast was a hard pass, defiantly could offer some healthier options, fruit flies around the fruit and I'm not much on cold hard boiled eggs. After a long night of listing to other peoples music definitely could have used a good cup of coffee. Not to be had here. Good location and clean rooms but would have been nice to have some sense of hotel security. Had a conversation with another guest coming down stairs the following morning and they didn't seemed thrilled about the music the night before either. Being two women traveling alone it didn't feel like the safest environment. Wont stay here again which is unfortunate, loved the price and location. Had higher expectations from a new hotel.

Made a last minute reservation here and arrived before check-in. We dropped luggage in the room and stepped out to meet up with family. We got news that we needed to change our travel plans and weren't going to need the room after all. Politely explained the situation to the hotel owner and asked for a partial refund since we had only been checked in for about an hour and the only thing touched in the room was the bathroom. He said there was no way for him to have a housekeeper clean the bathroom and put the room back into inventory so no way we could receive any kind of a refund at all...it was still 2 hours from check-in at this time. We left the hotel about 5 minutes later and my husband posted a negative but truthful review of the situation on Google. The owner of the hotel processed an additional $250 charge on my credit card as a result. When I called to inquire he stated that he would remove the charge if my husband takes down the review. He placed me on hold in the middle of the conversation when he didn't like what I had to say and then came back on the line and said,”Are you done now?” Incredibly rude. Incredibly disrespectful. Complete disregard for changing travel plans. Unethical practices. Makes me wonder if he gave discounts or bonus points to the travelers who gave him 5 star reviews. If he's willing to try to financially retaliate for negative reviews he's probably willing to reward positive one! Hotel itself was ok. Staff was ok. Housekeeping needs improvement. Room was musty. I'm waiting on a response from IHG Customer Care and will be disputing all charges when the clear my credit card.

I stayed at the Aloft because it was the hotel option with EV chargers. My work gave us the option of Aloft or Marriott, and only Aloft mentioned EV chargers on their website. (I ended up not driving the EV, but it was nice to have the option.) Check in was easy, and my room was ready and clean. I don't love the Aloft brand as I don't think it caters to my demographic, but it was perfectly adequate for a midweek trip made without my kids. I had a standard two queen room. It had a single sink and a shower (no tub). The room had a view of their conference room/ballroom building. The doors do not do much to keep the sound of the hallway out, and throughout the night, I could hear people talking and doors slamming. Not great. The beds were just a little too firm, but I thought the pillows were fine. The shower water pressure was not great, even when adjusted to be high velocity. I did not try out the pool, but it looked nice. The room was fine, although I don't necessarily agree with some of the design, which seemed less practical. I did like that parking was free and that there were several restaurants within walking distance. I think next time I'll try out the nearby Marriott.

Trendy, Guest Service excellent Hotel. Came up for a concert, was very surprised how great this hotel was. The level of customer service especially with our fur baby Duke was phenomenal. From now on will go out of my way to find Aloft Hotels, especially, this one in Jacksonville. FL.

We drove from Pennsylvania and already called to let the front desk know that we would arrive late maybe past midnight. The gentleman on the phone was very pleasant reassuring us the service is 24/7 so we should be fine getting our room when we were there. We reached the hotel around 2:45am and the lady at the front desk had so bad attitude saying we had to wait 35-40 minutes because she was having an audit without checking if we already called to check in and to inform the hotel our situation. I was speechless of how thoughtless she was looking at us all exhausted after the long drive reaching the hotel so late at night and still asked us to wait for 35-40 minutes. She made us accept that audit was something important for her and we had to wait until she finished her audit. I’m sorry but this is unacceptable for regular customer service let alone Doubletree managed by Hilton which always has top of the line service. I was so upset and later apologized for it with her and told her I was driving so far and I was tired but she didn’t even glance at me and just threw such look-down-upon attitude at us. She should be the one who apologized for the wait but I was decent enough to do that first. I just can’t really can’t imagine how such a person with poor communication skills, poor interpersonal skills can work as a front desk, the key role for customer service at hotel industry. The 3 point on the scale I put was for the comfort of the room itself.
