Wonderful hotel! Now on our permanent list for future visits. Had a last minute flight cancel and had to spend an overnight in London. We had been coming off a long guided trip and wanted a cozy and convenient place for our unexpected (bonus) overnight. Booked room only hours before arrival based on a friend’s rec who had only heard about hotel. The staff (notably Benjamin) could not have made us feel more welcome and as if we had just arrived home. Hotel was cozy and charming. Relaxing welcome beverage (tea or champagne) in sitting room off reception. Also enjoyed ‘house special’ Martini in bar that evening accompanied by great complimentary nibbles. King bed room was perfect for us and sized as expected - 2nd floor back in a separate foyer from main hallway - not huge, but great space and good sized bath for 2 people. Welcome treats & personal hospitality note in our room. (Again, they only had few hours notice aware of our arrival). Turn down service with slippers provided. Wonderful location for our preferences and easy walk to SoKen tube. Highly recommend.

We love this Hotel, always a great welcome and friendly service. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave anything you want is no problem for the staff. The evening meals are excellent. My wife is on a low salt diet, and this was achieved without any fuss, yet she still had flavour in the meals, which is not achieved at most restaurants. Beautiful wines at reasonable prices. The servicing of our room was excellent, and discreet. Looking forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Adria, the location is great and the service was excellent. The hotel is a real oasis in South Kensington and is in a great location, close to Gloucester Road tube if needed but easily accessible for a stroll to Hyde Park, Harrods or High Street Kensington. We had a very peaceful nights sleep and an excellent breakfast the next morning. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway in the middle of London, this place can't be beat. It is wonderful in every possible way, from the large rooms to the wonderful breakfasts to the garden to the friendly and very helpful staff. The owner, Kit Kemp, who is a famous interior designer, has spared no expense in making the hotel inviting. She calls it a ”boutique hotel,” but you could also see it as a somewhat large B & B. It consists of three row houses combined and refurbished, but it has lost none of its charm. The location is also great. It is 5 minutes' walk from the South Kensington tube stop. If you are coming in from Heathrow, take the Piccadilly line directly there. If you are coming in by train from St. Pancras, also take the Piccadilly line directly there. The V & A Museum and the Natural History Museum are about 10 minutes' walk away. There are numerous restaurants around the corner. Breakfast is great. There is an extensive buffet with granola, muesli, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. There is also a full English breakfast available, including eggs, sausages, baked beans, and the rest. If you want an English high tea, they do it, but you have to reserve it in advance. The garden in the back is beautiful and well landscaped. There are koi swimming back and forth in a rectangular ”pond.” There are tables and chairs for guests to use. I've traveled to over 50 countries and this is certainly in my top three or four hotels worldwide. The only minus is that it is not cheap, but given what you get in return, it is well worth the price. It is an intimate luxury hotel and a real gem.
