Reviews From Real Travelers
Aman Tokyo sets a new standard for exceptional hard products. Despite a mishap on our first night when we returned from dinner to find our room uncleaned, the front desk manager promptly apologized and offered complimentary drinks. The head of housekeeping also personally apologized at breakfast and showered us with thoughtful gestures like a fruit platter and free laundry. Subsequently, our stay was faultless. Aman Tokyo also boasts stunning design and architecture and a strategic location near Otemachi station, Tokyo station, the Imperial Palace, and Ginza. Its awe-inspiring atrium leaves a lasting impression. The generously sized rooms, starting at 70 square meters, feature high ceilings throughout, with unforgettable views of the imperial gardens from the bed. Even the retractable TV showcases its thoughtful design, providing guests with an unobstructed view of the Tokyo skyline. The hotel's farewell was equally remarkable. Providing a complimentary hotel car transfer to Tokyo station, while being escorted by another staff member who went the extra mile to purchase our tickets, carry our luggage to the platform, store our luggage on the train and brought us to our seats. Undoubtedly, this luxury at Aman Tokyo comes at a price. However, delivers the sought-after wow factor for which its rates command. After all, Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. From the grand lobby to the inviting pool and spacious rooms, the hotel impresses on many levels. Managing expectations is, however, key. It would be unrealistic to expect the usual Aman-type of service commonly associated with their other properties whose room counts are a lot smaller. While the initial mishap was regrettable, the subsequent personalized attention and meticulous service surpassed expectations for a city hotel with 80 rooms. Whether this was due to the initial mishap or reflective of their usual standards remains unknown, warranting another stay on my next visit to Tokyo.

Aman Tokyo is definitely amongst the top 3 hotels in Tokyo, if not the best when it comes to the rooms. The lobby is spacious although perhaps too happening if you are used to quieter Aman surroundings (in the past it was for hotel guests only now anyone can access the bar), but the rooms, gym and pool are top notch, with some nice restaurant offerings. You will not be let down in this place.

Environment: This designer luxury hotel opened in March 2024. The design is French modern style, with good lighting. You can see Tokyo Tower from the window. The hotel is surrounded by wealthy areas, and downstairs are luxury stores such as Hermes, Dior, and Cartier. The swimming pool is divided into two types: adults and children. Breakfast is divided into Japanese, Western, and set meals.

A very private hotel, newly opened in 2024, leave some mystery for yourself to experience, the bathroom design is very reasonable, the Japanese breakfast is very popular, the water and drinks in the hotel refrigerator are all free, there is a bottle of special water from the UK that will be unforgettable, you will know after drinking it

The room is very comfortable, with a sofa bed, especially suitable for 2 people traveling with children, the child can sleep in a bed by himself. There is a 24-hour lounge on the 11th floor, with free drinks and fruits, and you can see the Tokyo Tower. The breakfast is not very varied, but very exquisite. The hotel staff are very friendly and the service is meticulous. The location is very good, with the Hibiya Line and Ginza Line downstairs. It is very close to Ginza, Roppongi, the Imperial Palace, and Tokyo Tower. When I left, I also bought the silver Doraemon souvenirs unique to Toranomon. In short, it was a great travel experience.

This five-star hotel is unique in that it offers unrivaled comfort and first-class service. Whether you are traveling for business or on vacation, this place has it all. I was impressed by the fact that the hotel rooms are equipped with modern amenities and thoughtful details. What's more, the hotel attendants are always smiling and enthusiastic, making me feel friendly and cozy.

For various reasons we had to extend our stay by another night and were pleased to do so. It allowed us to experience K’shiki restaurant as well as Tapas Molecular Bar which we were already booked into. Osamu Okazaki ensured that our check in went extremely smoothly and offered services which made us feel very welcomed. He really did relieve the stress that had been caused by the day’s events. The room was magnificent and allowed us to totally unwind. The hotel is close enough to places of interest to fill your time if needs be. The restaurants were exceptional. K’shiki with it’s vague nod towards italian cuisine was exceptional. We chose Chef’s Dinner Menu and each course was interesting and surprising. Service was exceptional. Tapas Molecular Bar is one of those restaurants which is really special in the world. It’s hard to write a review without ruining the surprises. Suffice to say with only seating for eight you really do need to consider your reservation well in advance. Chef Kento Ushikubo is as talented as it gets. His food is intense in taste, creative and in many cases just baffling. He could almost be a member of the Magic Circle with the illusions he creates. One of the most thoughtful and considerate people I have met, and meet him you do because he is with you preparing everything throughout the meal, you just wanted to applaud with a standing ovation at the end. He made it particularly special for our wedding anniversaries and I can’t say how because it would spoil another illusion. I was just staggered that with all our experience of eating throughout the world we were introduced to new experiences. Spoiler alert; I cannot believe his ‘powdered ice cream’ has not been ‘borrowed’ by other chefs. Sadly, unless we manage to return, some of those experiences will be a once in a lifetime event. Thank you for a memorable evening

Spectacular hotel, perfect location, impeccable service great communication with guest warm hospitality for the family especially the kids. Great selection of restaurants. Always helpful and smiling. The concierge service was really fast. They communicate by email and phone and what’s up as well so your questions are always answered about the hotel and the city itself.

I am lucky enough to stay at a high-end hotel once or twice per year. Let me start by saying I am indifferent between most high-end chains and standard Westins/Marriotts/Hiltons, etc. Four Seasons hotels are different--you can always see and feel what you are paying for. The new Four Seasons at Otemachi exemplifies this. Needless to say, the public spaces and rooms are beautiful. Both the design and execution of the design are magnificent. If you are a connaisseur of construction quality, you will see what I mean. In terms of fit and finish, it is to a building what a Lexus is to a car. More important than the physical space, though, is the staff. Within a day of being here, it seemed to be that everyone knew who I was (so behave yourself, because you don't want to develop a bad reputation here). I ate breakfast (it comes with the room) here, as well as one lunch in the Italian restaurant and one dinner at the bar. The food, while generally not Japanese per se, had Japanese flair. The smoked salmon in my first-day breakfast salad was special, as was the veal salad and turbot with edamame pure' I had for lunch. The Japanese breakfast featured cod marinated in miso, which is something I enjoy, and it did not disappoint. The Waygu burger I had for dinner was better than fine but didn't quite match my favorite in Los Angeles, which is the burger at the bar of Cut. The waitstaff was attentive without hovering, and the bartender, Keith Motsi, was named the best bartender in Asia last year. I am not surprised. He won me with his familiarity of Hemingway's drinking habits, and his perfectly executed, bone dry, stirred martini (he rinses both the carafe and glass with vermouth before pouring in the gin). The pool is stunning, although I am mildly disappointed that it has no deep end. Alas, shallow pools seem to be the way it is with all hotels these days. New hotels usually have to go through a shakedown period before they find their footing, and it was pretty clear to me the Otemachi Four Seasons is already well grounded. Currently, it is expensive, but not crazy expensive. I wish them much success.

Visited Tokyo many times; first stay at Four Seasons Otemachi, one of the newest luxurious hotels. Had two inter-connecting Premium Rooms, which we shared with our two teenage children for four nights. The Lobby, Est Restaurant, swimming pool and gym all on 39/F have great city and Palace views. The swimming pool is very cool and extra special - all four walls and the bottom of the pool are made of mirrors. You watch your own strokes and listen to music while you swim. The decor of the hotel is modern and zen. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Service was exquisite. Food was delicious. Our son was looking for a specific guitar and the staff went over and beyond what was expected to locate the only one available in Tokyo. We would especially like to thank Heba and McHayla for making our stay extra special.

Overnight with friends. At first, I was planning to go to a hot spring, but it gradually became closer, and in the end it was a plan to say that there was no hot spring and only the atmosphere ... but as a result, the answer was correct. The place is in the Grand Prince. The entrance is a little difficult to understand, and for some reason there is no front desk or entrance, and I wander around the lobby. Finally I found a staff member and was guided to the 4th floor. Check-in with matcha and sweets at the club lounge. Although the lounge is a little simple and small, there are only 14 guest rooms, so this may be enough for capacity. It is worth mentioning that you can access all the lounges of the three hotels in this Takanawa Prince area (actually four because it is a plus Hanakoji) (I was waiting w) This seems to be a privilege only for this Hanakaji, and the tension rises. I was supposed to come slowly to conquer all of them in 2 hours of cocktail time from 17:00, but I suddenly changed to an erratic and fluttering project! I went to the lounge of Hanakoji just at 17:00, but there was no previous customer. We are embarrassed. Drinks are a small number of elite drinks such as champagne, wine, sake, whiskey, and good juice (laughs). Nine snacks on the plate? Since the concept here is Japanese, it is a Japanese set. After that, I went to the lounge on the lower floor, but there was a line, Shin Takanawa had only beer and the rest of the daytime cake, and even though I went to Sakura Tower, there was nothing nice about alcohol or snacks, so I ended up returning to the beginning. As a result of returning to the beginning, I found that there is a drink here even after the cocktail time (no hors d'oeuvre) I finally found that it was the correct answer to use only here, so from the next time I will do so. Although the introduction has become longer, the room has the same setting as that of the inn and has a bed on tatami mats. The view of the garden is good from the window, and you can see the garden from the bath (can you see the bath from the garden?) The bathroom is large and comfortable. No unnecessary rain shower for me. No toiletries (I wanted this). I am grateful that breakfast is brought to my room and I can relax in the room while looking out at the garden. The contents are a little like an inn, and there are many items. Another feature is that all the staff in the hall are very responsive. After that, there is nothing to say if you can dig in the hot springs.

It was my first time staying here and it was very relaxing. First of all, the room had a great view of the garden, and it was in a position where other hotel rooms didn't bother me so much. The bedroom was comfortable, and I was relaxing on the tatami mats for the first time in a while. I had breakfast in my room and loved it. In addition, room service was delicious, too. In addition, the lounge dedicated to this hotel was nice with a calm atmosphere, and I was able to use the lounges of the other three hotels, and I was able to experience the differences in the atmosphere and service content of each, which was interesting. The garden was beautifully decorated for the summer festival. Finally, the service was also very good, ensuring a high level of quality in this difficult situation. It is a very good hotel, so I would like to visit again.

You know you’ve arrived when you get a whiff of a Le Labo scent! We stayed for 2 nights in a Superior room and then returned for 3 more nights in a Studio room. Hotel staff happily checked some luggage for us since we were returning. The superior room was large and very well laid out. The Studio room was almost double the size and was a corner room with 2 walls of windows. I would describe the decor as understated luxury. Rooms were immaculate. The hotel is in a prime location set back from the main shopping street with views from my room to LV and Cartier. A minute from the stores but a world away in terms of tranquility. The entire staff is amazing. They couldn’t do enough as they grabbed our packages walking in the hotel, offered water to us walking in or out, got the elevator for us and made our dinner reservations prior to arriving. Email responses to our questions prior to arriving was immediate. Amazing that we were greeted by name each day! If you are looking for a boutique hotel in Ginza make reservations before they are all booked. Handy hint- Before you arrive email to get the address of the hotel in Japanese prior to arriving. Save it in your contacts to show to cab drivers!

What an amazing hotel...in a convenient location to explore all of Tokyo. The hotel decor is sleek and luxurious...the team is friendly, welcoming and eager to please. We knew we were in for a treat when we arrived at 10 am after an overnight flight from Bangkok and needed a shower and the front desk informed us that our upgraded suite for our honeymoon would not be available until 6 pm...and without missing a beat told us that they had a courtesy room we could use until that room became available. It is a small, gorgeous hotel. The smallness of the hotel has its distinct advantages because everyone was in synch...the left hand knew what the right hand was doing. The hotel staff had great suggestions for us. The hotel is spotless. The suite we had was spacious and so luxurious. The suite had both a Dyson hair dryer and fan...and two HUGE TV's (although we didn't watch them). We were welcomed to our suite earlier than promised with a bottle of champagne and a Japanese version of a honeymoon cake. We loved our stay and we will be back!!!

We wanted a hotel right next to Tokyo Station as we were traveling by Shinkansen, and it doesn't get much closer than this. Like many modern hotels in Tokyo located in office towers, the actual lobby isn't on the ground level. This was a little annoying but it is what it is. Our room was spacious as expected, with views of Nihonbashi and the east side. Plenty of room to open up our big suitcases. The chaise longue next to the windows was a comfortable place to spend time on. The bathroom had a large wet room, equipped with a rainshower next to the bath tub. The glass wall meant that one could be in the bathroom and look out not only at the room, but at the rest of Tokyo if curtains were drawn. My main complaint was the shortage of TV channels with English or non-Japanese broadcast. We stayed in local Japanese hotels where they offered more international programming, so why didn't Shangri-La?! Service was otherwise fine, with check-out available via the Shangri-La app on one's mobile phone.
- Guest User
We requested for an early check in as our red eye landed early AM. We were given the standard reply, no guarantee, as it depends on availability but will try our best. When we arrived, at Tokyo train station, someone from Shangri La met us at train platform and accompanied us to the hotel. That’s helpful as we wouldn’t have been able to find our way to the hotel easily given how large the station is. Upon arrival, Mr Matthias, GM warmly welcomed us & delighted us with news that our room was ready. He took time to get to know us and provided good restaurant recommendations. Everyone we came across served from the heart. Service was excellent. Shoutout to Ms Morita Kinuka of Concierge went above and beyond to help us with our travel plans& bookings. She’s fast and efficient. Housekeeping fabulous. Room very clean, everything worked well. We enjoyed our breakfast. Food excellent, staff friendly & attentive.

Recently my two adult sons and I spent a week in Tokyo at the MIMARU TOKYO GINZA EAST. I will cut to the bottom line: We loved our accommodations. The room was modern and clean. The microwave, electric tea pot, and refrigerator/freezer combination fit the bill. The kitchen area also had a two-burner electric stove. A storage safe was also provided. The air conditioning unit was quiet and very efficient. The bed areas all had charging areas for electronic devices. The bed themselves were extremely comfortable, accompanied with multiple pillows and cozy comforters. The bathroom had two sinks and a nice shower/tub combination, and there was plenty of hot water at all times. The bathroom towels were plentiful and were top quality. The toilet area was separate from the bathroom which offered privacy for the user. The eating area was large and comfortable. The apartment offered extensive lighting options. There was plenty of closet space and numerous hangers were provided. If desired, the windows could be opened to let in the sounds of the city and fresh air. An umbrella was provided as well. The facility had a nice little laundromat with modern equipment and prices were extremely reasonable. The elevators were silent and moved very quickly from floor-to-floor. The staff was helpful and friendly. This facility is located in a very nice part of Tokyo within easy walking distance of four subway stations, however, if you have the desire and energy, there are many center city attractions that can be easily reached on foot. I thought the cost of the hotel was extremely reasonable for three adults, especially since Tokyo has the reputation of being one of the most expensive cities in the world. I plan to return to Tokyo in 2024 and will be booking our stay - once again - at the MIMARU TOKYO GINZA EAST.

We went on a family trip of 5 people. 4 adults including children. Staff at reception can communicate in English. (I was very happy with this.) Also, it was convenient to be able to refill the shower robe, various teas, toothbrushes, slippers, etc. on my own. There was a coin laundry, so it was convenient because I didn't have to go to a separate laundromat, and I arrived earlier than the check-in time with the luggage storage service, so I left it there and traveled comfortably :) - Room condition First of all, it was very good for family travelers! The room is not mini-sized, but has a rather large refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, various dishes, and cutlery sets, so it was comfortable to wash the tumbler and order Uber Eats to eat. Even those who come with a baby can clean the baby bottle, so it won't be uncomfortable. In addition, the dining table was wide enough to seat 4 adults, and the bed was good for sleeping. Netflix is installed, but IDs sold abroad do not go over. After that, Apple TV and other TVs are rented at the reception. (I didn't watch it) YouTube is good. I also played a song. The location is a bit of a walk, but the road wasn't difficult, so I looked for it. It's quiet because it's near a residential area, and there's a Lawson convenience store nearby. I didn't choose a part of the breakfast because I wanted to break the convenience store, but it was nearby, so I bought a lot the day before and ate it in the morning. I bought a burrito, seaweed lunchbox, ramen cream bread (with flavor) at the convenience store, so I didn't have to order breakfast! I don't know if I will go to Tokyo next time, but I want to go again next time. That ㄴDD ㅐ WooㅣDental Jjmwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Walking and bending over

The hotel is magnificent, with the luxury of the last century. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. After staying, you will feel the attentive service everywhere. Problems are dealing quickly and efficiently. If you sit near the window in the restaurant on the 17th floor, you can enjoy the view of Hibiya Park and the garden of Imperial Palace. Wonderful stay! Great place with loads of amenities and great rooms! Near the train station and located really close to Tokyo station too! The rooms were pleasant and spacious but the main draw here are the staff who provide excellent service. One issue I had however, was that during check in, there seemed to be errors in their booking system and we faced difficulty trying to check in. But the staff helped to resolve the matter timely and patiently. Definitely would stay again!
