We recently visited Taj Bengal to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and our experience was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was courteous and attentive, making us feel truly special. A special shoutout to Mr. Sanjib Ghosh, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. His attention to detail and care made all the difference. A big thank you as well to Miss Shreya for beautifully decorating our room—it added such a personal touch to the celebration. Taj Bengal truly made this birthday celebration a memorable one, and we can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended!

Everything was very well organised. The dinner buffet was elaborate and special mention must be made of the service especially A***, he was very hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

The stay at itc sonar was wonderful. The ambience ad grandeur of this property is beyond words. The cuisines served here are excellent. Credit goes to Chef Shubonkar for taking individualistic care. I would like to mention Mr. Sujoy from front office for his help ad arranging the best for me. I would love to visit again.

Fortunately, the location is OK, convenient

We booked a night here at the Holiday Inn Kolkata hotel. I have stayed in Holiday Inn chennai as well. However, the standards of cleanliness and amenities and the room, the bathroom fittings and floor were low and some areas felt unsanitized as well. The floor in the room also lacked cleanliness. They also had a torn bedsheet on our bed which I asked them to remove and they very quickly and diligently changed it. However, I was disappointed since the finishing checks if the room is in good condition for the next guest needs improvement. The walls lacked lustre. And we paid approximately 62 EUR. Maybe they need to check the standards of other Holiday Inns like in Chennai. Food that we ordered was nice. 10/10 on that. But somehow the brand that Holiday Inn is and that we experienced in Kolkata was a huge mismatch. I hope they look into all this.

Surr. Sure. Well, booked 2 deluxe room which was clean and enough space, bathroom was quite new. Water supply just started so sometimes need to inform service for water supply. Night time drinking water supply have some issue, food was ok as per price rate. Garden, swing, outdoor seating area and swimming pool available. Little delayed in services lik room tea order or breakfast order. Good experience overall. Resort is under renovation so might take few months to complete all the construction of amenities. Rest check in/out is simple process.
