Hotel Sorra Daurada Splash Map, Address, Transportation & Nearest Stations and Airport

On arrival, we were dropped off by our clueless tui rep, who was more interested in speaking on her mobile phone than helping others! Waited 30mins for room, when receiving our key they was an argument going on with a previous guest, if I'm honest this could of been sorted quicker then it was as they was children present including my own! Our room was basic, with no balcony, bath, or even a fridge, we were told a fridge is extra & if I'm honest, we didn't have a balcony, so a fridge would of been perfect as we didnt have this! Tv had no English channels apart from disney. Rooms were cleaned well, but most of the time, I did it myself as I have a little OCD when it comes to cleaning, I came to this hotel with my 7 year old son, who has an allergy to fish! This was explained to the staff as well as kitchen staff as I used my phone to google translate, I wouldn't of minded eating there if food wasn't cooked together, fish & meat was both cooked on the same grill as well as been placed on the same tray! This happened a few times so my son couldn't eat there at all, we had to pay extra & eat out as even though I mentioned this to staff nothing was done! On the last day, I spoke to the manager and told them about my sons fish allergy as I was told staff were going to pass the message on which was never done! The manager apologised & told me I would be given a refund through Tui & he would help all he could! Which was lies as Tui refused to give me a refund & said the manager should have given me this when we left! (The manager wasn't going to give me a refund it was lies) I spent an extra £250 eating out every night when this hotel could have sorted my sons dietary needs as most places do theses days! We had 2 days of rain and to be honest they was no entertainment or even music playing in the bar which made our holiday glumy, we were offered a few board games, the entertainment at night time was mainly for adults, I wouldn't recommend taking your children here as it's more of an adult environment! The hotel is basic, no fridge unless you pay extra, the hotel was clean, some staff go above & beyond for people, they was a young lad with glass and a lady called Sally I think who where absolutely amazing, they knew about my sons allergies & apologised, I do wish more help was given though like a refund the manager promised me! The pool area is small, we never went in to the pool as the beach was more fun, the hotel is very basic and I would recommend going somewhere different as the money we paid for this hotel wasn't worth it, some of the guests are so rude, pushing in, mucky looks & completely blanking people, I felt uncomfortable in this hotel as people seemed to judge me due to having tattooes, (my body, my rules) I wouldn't go here again as it was boring, and nothing much for children, we did meet a few couples who were lovely & even they told me they would never go again as it's changed, it felt like management just wanted my money & didn'

I just arrived at Vila Arenys Hotel and very satisfied ... excellent reception, very careful, have made me the early check in 3 hours before :-) All in the Hab, very beautiful, wide, with terrace, bright, finally everything you can ask !! I'll only be 1 night but I wouldn't care to stay a few days !! TOTAL RECOMMENDABLE !!

Nice hotel, great location and attentive staff, we'd recommend. Breakfast buffet is really worth it, relaxing in front of the sea-view, we'll come back next year!

We had a most lovely time in Blanes especially staying at this fabulous hotel! Rooms are amazing , staff delightful , location near shops and beach . Couldn’t be better, September is a great time to visit very few tourists and mostly Spanish voices around us . Casa Indiana rooms are decorated beautifully with every touch you can imagine Breakfast excellent ! A must see are the botanical gardens, set high above the beautiful azure sea. We will be back ! Mi esposo y yo nos alojamos en el pack de escapada gastronómica de este hotel de Cataluña y fue una experiencia inolvidable. Desde el momento en que llegamos, nos sentimos muy acogidos y cómodos en nuestra habitación lujosa y espaciosa. Pero lo mejor de todo fue la comida. La experiencia gastronómica ofrecida por el hotel es simplemente impresionante, con platos deliciosos y variados que destacan la riqueza culinaria de la zona del Maresme. Los ingredientes eran frescos y el personal de la cocina siempre estaba atento a nuestras necesidades. Además, el personal del hotel en general fue muy amable y servicial, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos en cualquier momento. En general, mi esposo y yo recomendamos encarecidamente este pack de escapada gastronómica a cualquier pareja que busque una experiencia culinaria única y relajante cerca de Barcelona. Sin duda, volveremos en el futuro.

Arrived at 1am and had to do a 10 minute walk to Hotel Horitzo which we already knew about. We met a lovely receptionist that sorted out our keys, took our tax payment and did the E200 authorisation on the card. When we we back to the appartments the vending machine had barely any stock and every thing was shut. The sofa bed was not made up, so wearily we climbed into bed after making it. The matress was so thin that the bars from the sofa pushed through and I was in pain and barely slept. In the morning we awoke to a massive stench of drains, the spare pillows did not have pillow cases and there was BLOOD spatters on the curtains. I went back to reception to complain. Another lovely receptionist moved us up to the 8th floor, this time there was no smell, a clean apartment and a comfortable sofa bed. The manager popped in to see us which was a nice touch. I showed him the balcany as the glass divider was cracked and he already knew about it. I did some shopping and we settled in. But there was a big ***** of the kitchen unit missing, no hot water and only one bath towel. Also when I tried to plug the kettle in the base was all melted - really dangerous. Finally I discovered the hob did not work! Not great for self catering I went back to reception in the other hotel (there was no reception at all in the apartment block - just an empty office). They replaced the kettle, towel and fixed the water. But the did not fix the hob and had no spare apartments to move us to, and was very apologetic about it. I filled in the online survey asking for a free meal as I could not cook anything and I was ignored. The area where the apartment block is on the beach, near the caravan parks and is about 15-20 walk (all flat) into the main town. There is a very expensive little supermarket nearby and a bar. But lots of closed bars and restaurants, it was like a ghost town. It maybe because it was April and things werent open yet? The views from every apartment face the sea and they are spectacular. There is a little playground and a couple of nice restaurants about 5 minutes away. Although the staff were genuinely lovely, it was painful to keep trapsing down everytime I discovered a problem. I wouldnt return to these apartments, but may consider staying at the hotel puely based on how nice the staff were? Note: the E200 deposit was back in thr bank account the day after returning.
