Easy to find in a small village on the outskirts of Bethune. We stayed here on our 1st and last nights our a recent trip. There is plenty of free car parking within the immaculate grounds. It s worth taking the time to have a little wander in the gardens. The rooms are very large, comfortable and well appointed. There are 3 restaurants to choose from on site.

This hotel provided a convenient stopover on our return to the UK after holidaying in France, being just off the A26 motorway. My original intention was a stopover in Calais but was put off by tales of security issues. The hotel is easy to find being just opposite the main train station. It is just over a year old and this is reflected in the standard of accommodation. We had a family room which was more than adequate for our needs and well appointed, with lots of charging points for phones etc. Staff were very pleasant and spoke good English, particularly Marion who, together with her colleagues, looked after us very well. It is a bit of a hike to reach the main square of Bethune on foot but well worth the effort. The evening menu featured tapas, burghers, salads amongst other dishes and was reasonable value for money but breakfast was more basic and rather expensive for what was on offer. Very little not to like. Not the cheapest overnight stop but convenient and extremely comfortable.

The hotel is located at the grand place (main plaza) of Béthune. It has the nice view of the clock tower Beffroi. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. They even gave us free additional bottles of water. The room is clean. There are many parking places nearby the hotel. There are also many restaurants around the grand place.

We had been here at least twice before and had no problems. This time sadly it was very disappointing. On arrival the window was open in the room so of course being January it was very cold. We closed the window and stayed in bed until we could go out to eat. On return, the room was no warmer, and nothing we did would make the heating come on. There was an electric heater in the room and at first it did not seem to work either - we discovered in the morning, the thermostat had been turned to min. not max. We had tried phoning reception, she said something about adjusting from their end but I guess that was just to get us to leave her alone. In addition to the lack of heating the window even when closed, had cold air coming in around it (not very green!). No wonder the noise of kids revving motorbikes outside seemed so loud when we were trying to have an early night. I could also feel the draught in bed and had to sleep with clothing wrapped around my head. At breakfast when we went around 7.30 there were no spoons - not even teaspoons - and my husband was trying to eat stewed apple and yoghurt with a fork. Just as we were leaving they were putting them out. Please management, fix the window and heating in room 106! Even for an Ibis Budget this wouldn't have been good at all.

I have seen bad opinions, however, regarding this price, the cuisine of Mr, Madam in serious and careful services. The best way to get the best of the world is to get the best of the world. ... know ... But the little more that does Quality ... These patrons have widely understood it and offer it at a price so studied. Ibis far behind, nothing equivalent in this city, used to be from Plaza , Four seasons or others De Crillon, environ George IV, Paris. Here and whatever the critics, we must respect if we have been a client. Madam, sir, I thank you and I will be back very certainly, to find warmth, ambience, respect and pleasure. Well to you. Y. Our second stay here. So convenient to stop here after getting the Channel Tunnel, on our way to Disney. Far cheaper than staying in Dover. Basic, but clean and a warm welcome. So nice to have a meal in the restaurant and to get ready for the next day. Nice touch from the staff to bring us some snacks as we played a board game in the restaurant as we had some pre-dinner drinks. We’ll be back soon.
