One’ first impression is a simple three star hotel in a small country town residential area. Correct. But this hotel somehow manages to transform itself into something much greater. Everything is comfortable and immaculately clean. Everything works. Mainly the staff - Nothing is too much for them. The location is probably irrelevant because there is nothing in this town that you need to be near to, and anyway wherever you are you’re in walking distance of anywhere else. One minute’s walk outside and you find yourself in a heavenly residential area with large houses, beautiful gardens, streams and duck ponds with many bridges. The only sound you hear is a symphony of birds tweeting - on a cold winters day in January. The rooms are simple, but comfortable - the bathroom spacious and modern, the breakfast is excellent Highly recommend

Wir waren zu einer Familienfeier in Damme. Mein Mann und ich logierten in einem Appartement im Neubau, die eine Stieftochter war im gleichen Gebäude in einem Doppelzimmer, die andere Stieftochter mit der ganzen Familie in zwei Doppelzimmern im Altbau. Die anderen Zimmer habe ich nicht gesehen, die im Neubau waren, gem. Aussage, identisch mit unserem Zimmer (nur dass wir noch eine ”Wohnküche” hatten). Die Familie im Altbau hat auch festgestellt, dass die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen sind. Der Empfang war super, wir haben am ersten Abend im Bistro gegessen. Es war super lecker, der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wie auf der Homepage erahnen liess, sehr ausgelastet (anscheinend wird Personal gesucht), weshalb ab und zu die Wartezeiten lange waren. Mein Mann haben jeweils in der Wohnung gefrühstückt. die Töchter mit Familien haben auch im Hotel gefrühstückt und waren hell auf begeistert vom Angebot. Ich hatte noch ein Hemd zu bügeln und konnte dies im Wäschezimmer tun. Im Flur hat es einen Snack-Automaten mit Süssigkeiten, Chips, Wasser, Süssgetränken und Bier. Was ich sehr aufmerksam fand: wir hatten ein ”Empfangspaket” erhalten mit Putzschwamm, Putzlappen, Abwaschmittel, Tab für Geschirrspüler und 3 Filter für die Kaffeemaschine. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet mit dem Nötigsten was es zum Kochen braucht. Ich hätte lieber einen Wasserkocher gehabt anstatt des Toasters. Besonders angenehm war auch der Sitzplatz vor der Wohnung. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden wieder im Waldhotel logieren, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind.

We spent here 2 nights and decided to work from one of the larger rooms. Here you have really a lot of space and the bathroom is also very large. The staff is very friendly, the room was very clean, modern, beautifully furnished, quiet, the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, deduction is available for the fruit salad that was not fresh but a finished product. Great is the large swimming pool, especially that the water has a pleasant warm temperature. The sauna is beautiful and large enough - but you should wonder when aquagymnastics, baby swimming etc take place, because there is no separate rest room and there is a proper action.

Very warm family hotel, although there are not many rooms, but the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is also very careful, sausage bread cheese juice coffee is all available, there is a garden view when dining, there will be a chance to stay again in the future!
