they deleted all the terrible reviews this place is terrible and dirty period!!!!! went to 2 rooms they were all dirty and carpet was buckling we used this place 20 years ago and it has gone down ever since

Not a good experience. Beds hard,as a rock. No shampoo or dish soap, stove didn't work, toaster only worked on one side. No way to turn on jet tub and furniture looked like it had water damage. Pool area needs to be worked on. Tiles missing and only a few pool towels

Fumes of roach spray were so overwhelming. The inside pool was broken and the water was so thick and slimey. The pumps didn’t work, the inside splash pad/kiddie area was broke and surrounded by caution tape. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work and even after complaining multiple times they still weren’t fixed! The air conditioner didn’t cool the room and the carpet was filthy! Our feet turned black and I asked housekeeping to vacuum but was told housekeeping didn’t service your room after check in. I asked for a refund or even a partial credit but the managers were super rude and immediately declined. They ignored all my concerns and said that because I didn’t call the front desk they didn’t believe me BUT I actually complained in person to multiple didn’t staff members every single day‼️ The view was the only nice thing

start by sayin ive stayed at one of these two propertys 10+ times over the past 15 years. this year was a group stay with 20+ people stayin in hotel and condo rooms. Condo side hasnt changed much. Staff seems to be gettin back in the swing post-covid. pool area was clean and everything working. no bugs or bad smells. Only bad i have to say is....i believe the condo side is in some sort of transition. maybe seperating from the hotel. Condo side now has seperate phone system, housekeeping and maintenance. Hed a few problems.....toilet oveflow....missing linens on the murphey bed...ect. small stuff. but it was a headache because hotel doesnt take care of condo now and i guess they had to contact someone else to fix things. one last thing. condo has owners and renters with a new HOA system. ran into a few "karens" trying to enforce owner rules on renters.

We've stayed in the Holiday Sands at South Beach condominiums several times over the years and were just there again during the CCMF. Over the last couple of years, we had seen some issues during Covid, but we wanted to give it another chance and so we're glad we did. You can see that things are getting back to normal and that the staff and maintenance crews are bringing this place back to a condition that we were used to and now we can look forward to returning to again. It is in a fantastic location as you can easily get to the festival and other local attractions within just a few minutes, but it was just far enough away that you could avoid the crows and noise. The beach is so nice in this area too. It's close to the State Park where you can grill and picnic, hike, enjoy the wildlife, etc. It's remarkably close to the airport so it's very convenient if you're flying in, yet with the sounds of the ocean you usually don't even realize that it's there. Market Commons is right up the road within a mile or two as well and they have many restaurants, shops, and a movie theater plus more. We will be back again and recommend it to others.
