Great weekend stay!! Excellent customer service from owners!! we wish we could have stayed longer!! quiet, beautiful, clean, cozy and enjoyed the pool immensely too!! visited with others who were staying, while in pool area!! we had such a great time!!

We have stayed in the larger cabins with no issues. Quite nice in fact. Stayed in the smaller cabin #4, and this time we were not pleased. The cabin smelled bad. The blinds would not close properly and had to get someone to fix them which does not start things off when you are trying to unwind. Carpet was old and disheveled. Basically the cabin was very old and unclean. Stayed one night out of 3. Could NOT stand the smell plus it was not very nice for the price. Disappointing that when we checked out, there was no mention of a discount or discussion of how to rectify the situation. We were repeat customers but not now. We left the room clean and as we found it.

We initially tried to book our stay for 2020, however because of covid we were unable to get childcare so kept having to push our booking back. The owners were so accommodating and understanding, we were finally able to make the trip in June 2022. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the calm and relaxed atmosphere. Check in was quick and easy, we were in our cabin within minutes. We stayed in cabin number 9 and LOVED it. Everything had been cleaned to an exceptionally high standard. As long as you keep the door closed you can save yourself from the bugs. I seem to attract mosquitoes more than the next person but I found that the bugs weren’t too bad in the day and in the evening they seemed to leave me alone when covered in bug spray! It’s to be expected for the area. It was nice having a clean and cool cabin to escape too though and the jacuzzi tub was enormous - bigger than it looks in the pictures. We spent some of the afternoon relaxing by the pool. We noticed it was cleaned with a net on a regular basis - multiple times while we were sat there - so the pool is lovely and clean and hardly any bugs floating around because they really keep on top of that. There are dvds and games you can borrow which was nice for the evening. Unfortunately we didn’t see any deer - perhaps it was too hot, we were there on a particularly hot weekend but it didn’t take anything away from the stay as it was just such a lovely place to be anyway. I also got my animal fix in the shape of the owners dogs - they are adorable! We will certainly be back so I’m sure we will see the deer some time. Overall, it’s the perfect place to relax and get some quiet time. I cannot fault this place at all! Thank you for a great experience. We will be back!

We just returned from spending two relaxing days in Unit 11 at Tall Pines. Check in was a breeze. The unit itself was very clean and contained everything one needs. The unit contains a two person jacuzzi, sauna and an electric fireplace for added comfort. We decided to eat in both days and made use of the gas BBQ. Each morning, we were visited by friendly deer, who will eat right out of your hand. We highly recommend Tall Pines to any couple who is looking for relaxing solitude and cozy comfort.
