|27.48km from city centerFantastic stay! Made accommodations through Ola Properties (so friendly and easy to work with). Our condo was so spacious, clean, quiet, and gorgeous view (beach tower 610). Slider doors open fully ip the lanai, so beautiful! Beach chairs, boogie boards, most kitchen accessories you’ll need, laundry detergent, even a clothing steamer! Pool area is kept very clean, in working order. Music out at the pool side bar was classy and low key! Staff was the friendliest we experienced during our entire trip. Lagoon felt comfortable and safe for swimming for our younger two. One day there was a bit of a rowdy crowd but the lagoon is big enough to just venture elsewhere when we felt it was too rowdy for our littles safety. If we ever return to Oahu we will definitely stay again. Cons: mattresses were hard, but pillows were very comfortable. We have two competitive swimmers that needed to get laps in and hoped to use the lap lane but one side was a bit too shallow and often had quite a number of people hanging out. Not a huge deal they just headed to the lagoon and got in a workout.

Everything you need is provided: fully equipped kitchen, snorkels, fins, chairs, umbrellas - so many items! The customer service was awesome - every text was answered. But we didn't need to contact very often as their arrival and departure instructions are incredibly clear. The bay is paradise. There are also hiking trails that you can walk or horseback on, golf, and a pool. It is a short drive to Halewai, Shark's Cove and Waimea Falls. Would definitely return!

I think it's safer to send an email to the hotel in advance saying you'd like to park rather than going to the hotel on the day, but it's a hassle and even if you're told it's full, you'll be directed to a nearby parking lot. , I don't have any trouble with that, so I think you can rest assured.
If you don't care about the view or the ocean front, I think it can be an option as the price can be kept down.

With all the positives I would not stay here again for a couple of reasons. The main reason is that it is not convenient to get to the North Shore. In all my research I did not realize the road going North is not open for traffic. It still appears as a road on maps but apparently it has been washed out so many times they decided to to repair the road. So you had to go 30 minutes south then go 30 more minutes to go North. That was an hour of travel time (on a good day & time of day)to get to the North Shore. A second negative was the amount of homeless tent cities. The majority of local beaches in that area were taken over by the homeless, not a place for tourists. I will add that there were no problems on the beach at this hotel. It was a very beautiful beach and quiet beach. The waves were large so great if you want to be daring and body surf or boogie board, not so great for little kids or just floating. If you are looking for quiet and have no plans to travel around the island this could be a good choice.

*Environmental location, next to Wakiki Beach and on the main road, it is very convenient to be connected in all directions. Convenience stores and restaurants, trolly stations, public beaches, and zoos are all very close and within walking distance.
*Room facilities, the hotel has a history of a hundred years, so it is very stylish, but the city view room in the Diamond Building is so bad! ! ! ! Not as good as the new 3 star hotel rooms. (Pictured below are the benefits of room upgrade with the Marriott Platinum Card. I booked the cheapest room, but it turned out that booking through a third party did not provide any membership benefits. In the Maui fire, the hotel was full, and I wanted to upgrade temporarily but there was no room). The room is old, with an area of less than 20 square meters. Morning and night, I am woken up either by cars on the road or by the phone in the next room. A very bad experience!
* Service, remind the guests to check the bill carefully. After staying for 5 nights, the wrong bill was charged on 4 days. They checked it out one by one when they checked out, and the wrong money was refunded after 4 days.
In short, don't try to be cheap when booking a room. The small and shabby room type is not as good as staying in Hyatt or Marriott. The price/performance ratio is too low!

Due to convenient parking, we found that taking a taxi at the hotel is much cheaper than taking a taxi at Waikiki Beach. This may be the only advantage. We booked a two-bedroom, one-living room room with a kitchen, which cost about RMB3,000 per day, but the room was so small that you would suspect you were in Japan. Mark Howard the property manager kept in contact with us throughout the 2 week stay. Great communication and was insuring we were taken care of. No resort fees and parking was only 30 dollars a day. Small garage but worked just fine. Just a block to the beach and perfect location. I would definitely stay here again. No bugs. woohoo.... It is an older property but is in very good condition and well maintained / clean. Get a car and explore the island.

The reason I chose this hotel is that I don't have to rent a car for a full-day tour such as Oahu Island Tour, Turtle Snorkeling, and Hawaii Folk Show Ruau, so I can sleep, so I pay hotel blood and stay at a famous hotel. Because there was no need. I was in the Wicolona Village, such as Big Ilan for 4 days, but I couldn't go to the hotel lounge or swimming pool because I was doing activities all day, and I couldn't see the famous dolphins, but I paid for the hotel blood and slept. It was so wasteful that I got this accommodation in Oahu, which is convenient for transportation, and I was satisfied with the choice. However, a very historical incident occurred and I filmed a movie that I will never forget. I laugh now, but how cool I was. The downside of this hostel was that it was hot, but I gave a thin blanket and slept with only a quilt. The advantage is that it is narrow because it is a window, but it is less stuffy and has a microwave, coffee maker, black tea, dish spoon fork, shower supplies, enough towels, etc. Rooms are not cleaned, laundry facilities are available, and chair boards to be taken to the beach are rented for free. Of course, there is no resort blood. Wow~ It will be a place that I will never forget for a lifetime.

The conditioner was empty when I was in the bath! Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!

Gourmet food. We've had 2 brunches and an opulent dinner there. Our first time in Hawaii & what an incredible start to this trip. The recept is polite and detailed, providing necessities such as toiletries upon request. Breakfast while looking at the sea is the most luxurious. The night view is beautiful at night. Amenities are from Hawaiian tropic. The difficulty is that despite paying a high resort fee, cleaning the room is charged, and the hair dryer is broken and cannot be used! If you could improve this, it would be a more comfortable stay.

This hotel is in a great location: close to restaurants and the main street of waikiki. We did not go to beach from there since we rented a car and spent our beach time in other areas that were less crowded. Pros: great staff, comfy bed, cool atmosphere, water refill station, restaurant on site, free coffee. Cons: it's a very popular hotel that hosts weekly events so it can get loud in the afternoon and early evening by the pool and you will hear it from your room. Noise always stopped by 9 or 10... just keep that in mind. Hotel has a younger vibe and is great for social media. Pros: dogs! Cons: dogs! Lol you will hear them bark occasionally. I would definitely stay here again

Hotel employees are extremely friendly and helpful. I was very concerned about the hotel when I got off the elevator on the 14th floor. The hallways are dated and uninviting. However, upon entering the room I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, plenty spacious for a solo traveler (and would be acceptable for 2 travelers), and had a great view of the ocean. The continental breakfast offered fruit, pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, toast, and waffles. The best part of the stay was Leo at the bell desk. He was extremely friendly, and provided excellent service (he even noticed that I dropped my apple watch cover and held it for me until my return later that day). Be sure to get to know Leo, and don't forget to tip your service providers!
