|4.05km from city centerA perfect place to stay when you travel alone. Cheap, clean, safe. It seems like there is a lot of other ”alone travelers” here. Its also a resturant with a nice place to sit outside nearby the river. It seems like a social, relaxed place, but also a place where you perfektly can sit alone. Really liked this place! Recomenned! The staff is also very helpful, and gives good service. And ofc: Its Paris! I love Paris.

|3.59km from city centerI had a really good stay here. The other travellers were really friendly. I felt very safe. We hardly bumped into each other in our rooms due to everybody waking and sleeping at different times, but they were respectful in the morning and nights. The rooms were big and the beds were huge! The shared bathrooms were really clean and modern and the showers were really hot (or cold). It was mostly all students staying here or young people, however I did come across a few older people staying, one in my room. Lots of languages are spoken here. Lots of french mainly. I am English. There was also a Spanish speaking guy in my room, and a guy from Thailand. I stayed for three nights. The first time in a 6 bed female dorm and the last two in an 8 bed mixed room. Everybody is super friendly. The staff are friendly, there's lots of them. And there is big spaces with tables to study or eat and chat with each other.

|5.62km from city centerStaying in a quadruple room, good service. When I checked in on the first day, it was the boss’s son, a handsome French guy who received him and was very considerate. The breakfast was also very good; the boss’s wife was also very kind. 1.5 kilometers from the Eiffel Tower, we walked past. Is the price is not cheap, close to 7000 yuan for three nights.

|3.14km from city centerThe hostel was perfect for our visit to the capital. After a somewhat slightly off-putting start (the person at the bar asked us to wait / ignored us so that he could finish his inventory, then told us to go to the cash dispenser and pay the three nights upfront as his card reader was broken), the rest of the stay was good, and the other members of staff were very friendly and professional. We had booked a private double room. It is located on the fifth floor (no lift). The room comprises of a double bed, a low table with two stools, and a shower room. There are coat hooks by the entrance (we had brought coat hangers) and two bins. The windows are double glazed, although the one in the bathroom does not close properly. There are thick curtains in the bedroom which keep the light out when needed. As it's a busy street, the noise from the street below is noticeable, and because the hostel is close to the fire station, there are often some sirens. We can also hear when the other guests open their doors, which are very creaky. So to be fair, our sleep has been disturbed a few times, but it comes with being in Paris - the same happened to me in the past when I stayed at some friends' places. The room came with two towels (one medium, one large) and two small bottles of shower gel. There was also a large toilet roll. The two bins have been emptied daily. There are enough power plugs to charge our devices, and free wi-fi. The floor felt somewhat sticky (we had brought flip flops), but the bed and bathroom were clean (the shower room is rather dated but the bed is comfortable). People had complained about the bleach smell in previous reviews so.i.had brought a scented candle just in case, but it wasn't needed. The bedroom door opens with a card, which needs to be reactivated each time you come in, as the metro can interfere with it. The staff happily does it in a few seconds, as they welcome you in each time. The hostel also has a kitchen if you want to cook, but we haven't tried it. The bar on the ground floor seems to have a good selection of drinks. The area is really nice, with the Metro station one minute walk away, lovely cafes and bars nearby, picturesque canal Saint Martin, and we also found a small street market on Sunday morning not too far away. It is easy to walk to and from the centre of town from the hostel. We felt safe in the streets, there are schools and families living in the neighborhood. All in all, it was the cheapest accomodation we found in Paris at the time, and we felt perfectly safe and at home, in a great location. We would happily go back!

|2.95km from city centerI checked into this hotel on March 17th. On March 18th I left the hotel at 11:50 noon. I was the only one in the quadruple room when I left. Other tenants have checked out. I am also confirming that my 20-inch suitcase is locked. And double locked in the 30-inch luggage. And the laptop is locked in the iron cabinet provided by the hotel, and the lock is double-checked. before leaving the room. PM 18:40 I return to the hotel. After charging in the lobby on the first floor, return to the second floor at 19:40 PM. When I opened the door with a magnetic card, I found that the 20-inch suitcase was taken out of the 30-inch suitcase. Both pieces of luggage had been vandalized open and things were missing. The lock on the iron cabinet was also damaged, and the laptop inside was not taken away. I immediately went downstairs to inform the hotel counter and asked her to come upstairs with me. Later, the hotel staff invited me to the police station. I hurried to the police station, and the police station asked me to call 17 when I went back to the hotel. They will follow the procedure. After returning to the hotel, I called at 22:50 PM to 17. At 23:09 PM, the police went to the hotel to understand the scene. One of the policemen who arrived that night told us that room 305 of this hotel had also been burglarized last week. At 11:00 AM on March 19, some policemen went to the hotel room to take photos and questioned me again. They asked me to come to the police station to report the incident. Until the morning of March 21st the manager Michael GIROD went to work, his attitude was not very good, and he did not apologize. Just tell the insurance company. Those who want to stay, please take care of your own property safety and be mentally prepared''The hotel manager will not be very active in dealing with it'' But on the night of the incident, the lady at the counter was really friendly and eager to help.

I called the hotel and they say i need to take car and visit their office which is 20-30 minutes far away from the hotel by car. (Which is 40-60 minutes round trip by car! ) i said we have 4 luggages and they just say there is NO way but to visit their office. They keep reject the cancel and refund. I waited 60 minutes on the road but no solution so i got to other hotel nearby. I finally i payed all the hotel fee without even entering the room!!!! Ignorant and arrogant workers! |4.08km from city centerThis is a Youth Hostel, not a 'backpackers hostel', so while there are plenty of young people staying, there are also families, school trips and older adults. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a private 2 bunk room with shower (no toilet). The rooms are very basic but include a wash basin, and have comfortable beds. There was clothes storage and a table and chairs. It was much larger than hotels I've stayed in in Paris. There were two sockets in the room, which weren't very accessible, but with an EU plug and 3m cable they were fine to charge phones from. The doors were heavy (as in most hotels) and toilets were shared, meaning it could be loud with people moving about at night, however earplugs easily blocked the noise! Breakfast was included, which was a varied and fresh offering. There was also a well equipped guest kitchen with fridges. Guests can use the refectory for socialising and eating meals, there is also a games room/bar with entertainment. The location was in a residential area with good transport links, but also walkable to central Paris in under an hour through other residential neighbourhoods. On Saturdays most intersections had a food or flea market. Ideal for traveling on a budget.

|3.64km from city center2024.04 I stayed in a women-only dormitory for one night.
It was a clean and comfortable stay.
There are lockers in the room, but you need to bring a padlock if you want to use them.
They showed us instructions in Japanese when we checked in, and all the staff were kind.
It was also helpful that they could store our luggage before check-in and after check-out.
The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and was delicious.
It's a little far from the city center, but it's close to La Chapelle station on Metro Line 2, and a short walk away is Stalingrad station on lines 2, 5, and 7, so it was convenient to use those stations when it's a hassle to transfer.
I didn't walk around after dark, but I don't think the surrounding area is that bad.
I'd like to stay here again when I come to Paris.

|4.23km from city centerI do not recommend. It was the worse experience I’ve ever had with a property and with a manager: The room is very small for three people and crowded with furniture. There is a bed for two persons and a sofa that turns into a small bed. After we extended the sofa there was no more room for our suitcases. In the evening, when we tried moving the sofa around a little bit to make room for suitcases, we have discovered a lot mold on the wall and curtain behind the couch. My 14 year old child couldn’t sleep on that couch because it was very close to the moldy wall. The first night we had slept in very bad conditions, three people do not fit in the two person bad, my husband slept on a chair with his head on a table. It was very difficult to get in touch with the manager and when we finally made it he was extremely rude: he told me that mold is not an emergency and that I shouldn’t have called the emergency line. When I told him that mold is very dangerous and that my child has lung problems, he said “no, mold is not dangerous, it is normal!”. He promised that he will clean the next morning but, by 4 p.m. the next afternoon, he had just cleaned the wall with water and soap (not enough since the mold infestation was deep into the wall) and the curtain covered in mold was still in place. In the end I went to the nearest supermarket, bought a special solution to clean the mold and cleaned everything myself since it was late and we were facing another night of poor sleep. The manager was very upset that I have cleaned the mold myself and he scolded me that I put mold cleaner on the bottom of the curtain and it got discoloured. Moreover, he charged us 150 euros for the discoloured piece of curtain. In the end, we didn’t get any apologies nor any compensation for the poor conditions we’ve slept in on the first night. Instead we had to pay 150 euros for a small piece of curtain that was covered with mold. After we paid for the curtain, no one came by to replace it. The entire experience was extremely traumatic, especially the interaction with the property manager. I’ll also let the pictures I’ve taken speak for themselves.

|0.58km from city centerI chose this location online, and it was right. The location is excellent, restaurants, supermarkets, and transportation are very convenient, and there are many attractions nearby, which is suitable for self-guided tours. The landlord is warm and friendly, and responds promptly. Although the room is an old apar**ent, it is clean, tidy and sanitary. For a Paris hotel, the space is large and the price-performance ratio is relatively good (the bathroom is a little cramped). The washing machine does not dry, which is a pity for us who are used to it. In short, it is worth recommending, especially drinking a cup of coffee in front of the window and enjoying the sunshine in Paris, just like feeling at home.

|2.72km from city centerI booked a shared dormitory and the room and bed itself were pretty nice and I would like to give a high score.
The bed has a charging socket as well as two USB direct sockets although the charging speed of USB sockets is not so fast.
Overall, the room condition was pretty nice and absolutely recommendable.
But, if you take toilet-related things and conveniences into account when you choose accommodations, I definitely recommend you get the other hotels.
No urinals, you have to use the toilet to do a p. That makes toilet hygiene even worse.
From the male's perspective, there were only two toilets(one of them was out of service so technically there was only one for the whole dormitories) and two shower booths.
Shower booths were so crowded in the morning and even there's a queue.
Once you get in the shower room, it is separated into two parts by the transparent door. A shower booth and a changing room(or whatever you call it). Probably, you have seen this type of shower room so many times. The hygiene of the changing part was terrible. Even worse was there wasn't a shelf exist. So you have to put your things on the floor or hang them on the small hanger(I would say it is just a nail).
The water temperature was extremely difficult to adjust. You will spend lots of time adjusting it carefully. It could only be either SUPER hot or cold. The most annoying part was even once you put them in the right spot, the temperature will begin to change.
Additionally, the bathroom sink is literally misconstructed. When you give up taking a shower and head to the sink, you will meet a horriblely miss-shaped one.
It is shaped horizontally long but the depth is terribly short. It makes you not only spill a huge amount of water on the floor but also makes it hard to clean out your thing like your face.
I highly recommend you bring your own towel.
I was extremely surprised once they said I had to pay around 6,5 EUR only for a towel. I understand they make money by lending things but the price for the towel rent is literally a rip-off.

|3.72km from city centerThe price is very high, the same price can live in a remote location in Paris to 11 square meters of hotel, and this house is 60 square meters of two bedrooms and one living room. The landlord is a landlord in China, very enthusiastic and the communication is very smooth. And the door lock is a code lock, which is very convenient to stay. The security is very high, and there are three access control from the gate to the door. The sanitation is very clean and there are full-time personnel to clean every time. The landlord is very careful in decoration, with local decoration style and experience. The location is excellent, the surrounding hotels are starting at 20,000 rmb, downstairs are luxury cars and luxury stores, it is really worth living in Paris to live in such a house, recommended from the heart!

|2.04km from city centerThe location is actually a bit far from the city center. For breakfast, the hostel has a bread, hot cocoa & coffee. Then jam, panpan buns and Huiyuan juice. Don't let me and my roommate two boys do not have a problem. If the girls live together, they should pay attention to safety (although I see that there are many foreign girls who come to play and live), and it is not very convenient to take a bath and go to the toilet. Cheap is cheap, but I wouldn't recommend radishes and vegetables. Everyone has their own preferences.

Latin Quarter
Paris
|1.6km from city centerThere are a few things to say about this place first: First, the location is absolutely superior. The Latin Quarter is beautiful. It is an old-fashioned Paris neighborhood. You can walk to the city and various places. This alone makes it worth staying here, regardless of the hotel. How about it. Second, there are different areas in the hotel, basically two separate 4-story buildings with a courtyard in the middle. I feel like there are good and bad buildings in these two buildings. Anyway, we live in a good building. Third, the hotel is closed during the day, which would be troublesome if it's winter or if you're sick, but after all, it's not a problem for us. We booked a double room for 5 nights, bringing our own bedding. Room: very very small, with sink. Very Parisian. There was a very small floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the courtyard, and I wouldn't have realized how small the room was if it weren't for the fact that our luggage almost couldn't fit inside. The security issue can only be said to be basic. The staff will come to ”clean” it every day, whether you like it or not (I suspect that the so-called ”cleaning” may just ventilate the room, because this old building may get damp or something?) . Not sure, but you might lose some small items (change, etc.) at this time, so be sure to take your belongings with you or lock them up, because people will come in even when the door is closed. Bed: Very basic, but quite comfortable. We brought our own bedding, but after a few nights we paid for a set (not much money), which was fine, but I was worried about the cleanliness. Bathroom: Average, I don't want to say more. Very basic (I already have very low standards, my bathroom at home is outside). I wouldn't dare use the bathroom here in winter, the shower water is not hot (it's always ice cold) and the small floor-to-ceiling window doesn't seem to close properly. The shower didn't work when we stayed (but we had spare water and it was adequate). The toilet and bathroom are on different floors and the toilet is very basic. You need to bring your own toilet paper, because they often run out of it, and bring your own hand sanitizer. If the quality of this hotel is lowered, the cleanliness and safety quality of the bathroom will really be a fatal problem. In other respects it's pretty good. Waiter: Excellent. They all speak English (and other languages as well), are calm, civilized, competent, and friendly, and always sit down and chat with guests, who seem to be mostly local college students. They are definitely the highlight of the hotel, few of them are wild kids that party hard, they all tend to talk about literature and politics, which is really good. In addition, they are also very helpful in booking taxis and buses for you. Facilities: The pay phone was broken. Wireless internet is expensive (if your French is good enough to log in, find a park with wireless internet). There are small kitchen facilities where you can cook your own meals. Most things you need (groceries, laundry, etc.) are available nearby. Very close to the city and public transportation system. Storing valuables at the front desk will keep them safe (not sure 100%, but much better than leaving them in the house). Others: The breakfast was quite good, with cereals and baked goods, toast, juice, coffee, and tea. Being closed during the day was not an inconvenience (I thought it would be), but one day we got soaked and wanted to go inside to change, but no one let us in. I would like to reiterate that I am very impressed with this place, even with all the shortcomings. I should also point out that I didn't see or have anything to do with the hostel, and even if it had, I wouldn't have booked it (it's certainly not clean, safe, or stylish). It's a safe place with a lovely atmosphere if you're feeling adventurous, but if you're more interested in cleanliness and stability than character, look elsewhere.

|0.93km from city centerWe booked a suite with connecting single room for a mother/daughter/grandmother get-away to celebrate my daughter's 18th. The location is fantastic in the heart of the Marais. However, the little apartment we booked was very small and felt a bit shabby. It was done in a 'cool' style, but paint was chipped, a door handle was broken and we were lacking some basics - like a dishwasher tablet for the dishwasher or more than one wine glass (there were 3 of us). If the suite and room had been more affordable, then this wouldn't have mattered so much, but when paying over 1400 euros for a 3-night stay, you'd expect more. I had to request more toilet paper, the soap dispensers weren't full and when we first arrived the carpet in the bedroom had leaves on it as it hadn't been hoovered properly which wasn't the best first impression. The receptionist was lovely - she did help order my Mum a taxi to the airport. However, as reception is only open for a few hours in the day some in-room info would have been extremely useful - we could have done with instructions about how to use the safe, how to use the coffee maker and local restaurant/bar recommendations, just like you would get in an Airbnb. There is also no soundproofing between floors, when the couple above us arrived home we could hear them walking/talking etc, so not a great choice for light sleepers.

|3.41km from city centerMy flight got delayed, so I arrived late to the hostel around 2 AM on the night of March the 10th ”My reservation was from the 9th, so no problem” I seemed to wake up the receptionist who suddenly got busy on phone but had done the check in procedures, I reconfirmed it's a bottom bunk bed ”due to a medical condition, I can't climb” he said Yes Yes.. My room is on the 5th floor, I was fine and asked if there's a lift, he said Yes Yes ”basically was busy on phone and didn't even listen to what I was saying” I went up ”no lift btw but it was okay” to find the bed assigned is on top, and there was only one person in the room! I went down again asking if I can take the vacant bottom bed, then he got mad!! No you can't, wait for my colleague in the morning to see if he can move you. I asked if I can stay at the reception till then, but no it's closed... So I will just stay here in front of the Reception desk I replied. I affirmed I had my request delivered for a bottom bed, there was only one person in the room, so why can't I just get any?! He got very mad; started to call me crazy, and then shifted to the ”I don't speak English” and saying Me NO ME NO ME NO... He then approached very very close waiving threatening with his finger ”saying we are not discriminating you”!!! What? Who said discrimination?!! Then, I started to film his attitude with my cell phone right away as it was that close it gets physical.. He panicked when I started to film and called the police on me and asked me to go spend the night in the kitchen!!! Unluckily for him, I can understand French pretty well but I only speak English... He asked the police to come because I was making a fuss and a scandal. The police arrived like 30 mins later, while me shaking and waiting in front of the desk as he vanished when I started to film. Very Unluckily for him, the police was very supportive to me and they spoke English... When I told them the whole story; they asked him to return my money as long as they didn't adhere to my request for bottom bed, it's a medical condition but he was so rude to them as well saying, It's not his problem! He refused to refund saying tomorrow in the afternoon I come back to his colleagues be refunded. The police stayed with me till I booked another hotel for the night and THEY SAID IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME THEY RECEIVE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME PERSON but they can't file a case against him since it didn't get physical. While booking an alternative accommodation at 3 AM outside in the street, he called me in to give my money back!! This is a story I wanted to share, a story of lying, aggressive, and rude receptionist. Ah, and to the police; he stated that there's someone taking the bottom bed... While the key of the bottom bed was actually left on the check out tray!!! If you want ur days ruined and both yours physical and psychological health abused and tortured go to this place and deal with this man in particular. I dare their management

Paris
|4.46km from city centerI used Dupleix Hotel in Paris for very good price n location. Booked through hotels.com. For price you get bed n bath. Nothing else. No fridge, microwave, tv nor hairdryer. Plus shower is open n water goes everywhere. Can live with that but the problem is my brother booked 5 nights for family but I couldn’t stay but 4. Tried to reach them prior to visit n no answer to cancel extra night. When I got here again explain the situation and after three nights of back-and-forth with the hotel and hotels.com I still will not get my money back. Seems like there is untrustworthy proprietor here in my estimation because hotel.com said it was up to the hotel to give me back the money for the night not used. Hotel manager said Expedia said to submit the request to them but we never used Expedia. So I’m out $113. Bottom line ensure you get your dates right.
