|2.27km from city centerGood location, very convenient by bus, walking to the Colosseum is also very close. When I arrived at night, I couldn’t find a place to live and die. I didn’t think of the hotel in a church. When I was sleeping, the quilt was very thin. I felt that all Italy was a thin quilt. Breakfast was not good. I drank the most difficult coffee to drink so far. I suggest that I should find a cafe outside to enjoy breakfast.....

|11.99km from city centerThis is a great campground for an easy, inexpensive, and quiet trip. I was told it was a 26 minute walk from La Guistiniani station, so it seemed perfect for my visit to Rome. Well, the walk was more like an hour and a half because of the hills in between. They do have a shuttle that runs from the station, but their time schedule isn’t published and you don’t know it until you get there. I got a mini chalet. It was perfect for my needs, even though I had a hard time figuring out the heater. Just be prepared to get there early enough to take a cab or have a car to drive there.

|1.76km from city centerThe location is perfect, you can do everything by walk, the area very safe and quiet (a lot of security since it's near the parlement). We were really grateful that there was AC (August ~36°C). The only issue we had was for check-in, we didn't get any feedback and also the contact number on trip.com was not up to date. But except that, our stay was lovely!

|0.31km from city centerThis is a darling boutique hotel. The staff went above and beyond, answering so many questions and helping me with directions, even recommending a hair salon open on a Sunday. The hotel is very clean and in a great location. I easily walked to the Colosseum. The rooms are small, that’s why it’s a “boutique.” It was perfect for one person. I imagine it would be good for a husband and wife, but it would not be enough room for families or even friends traveling together. I would stay here again.

|2.13km from city centerWe lived staying Navona Gallery Suites. The location is superb, just a 15 minute walk to St. Peter’s Basilica and The Vatican. Ten minute walk to the Pantheon. Twenty minute walk to the Forum and Colosseum. So many churches all over this part of Rome. We felt completely safe in this neighborhood and the service staff were impeccable. Our suite was set back off the road through a courtyard so it was very quiet.

|0.48km from city centerThe rooms were as pictured and clean. Receptionist answered questions quickly prior to arrival. It was easy to find but the hotel is actually on the 3 floor which we didn’t know. We called when we got there as we were unaware of this. Lots of stairs. They do have a very tiny and sketchy elevator. I don’t like elevators so I would never ever step foot in this one. Reception from 8-8. The keys were difficult to navigate so pay attention when he shows you how to use them! Design was nice and the rooms were clean. Receptionist mailed our postcards. He was very friendly. He showed us a map and where the locations of things were and how far. It was 10-15 from colosseum, 10 from Trevor fountain and 10 from Spanish steps. 30 min from Travestere. We did not go to Vatican as he said it was a 1 hour walk and we were only in Rome for 24 hours. 10 minute walk from train station. We did walk this there and back with all our luggage and two small children and it was fine. A little busy but not bad.

|3.45km from city centersmall but sufficient room for two with two trolley, flash that from a courtyard,so no view of Rome to understand, still quiet room if it wasn't for a noise that was raised by some engine (I don't know if it was just outside our door, which is a closed closet, maybe there's something inside that needs for all rooms)or out on the courtyard, because there are shops and bars below the street.Comfortable bed, there are two kinds of coats, heat pump air conditioner, small fridge never used(we were in December\January)bathroom with a single neo no bidet,my room was 106,good cleaning, friendly owner.the top of this place is the location and area, You have the Vatican at 10 minutes walk, and the metro at 5 minutes, for the rest there is nothing missing about the rooms.

|3.23km from city center👍:
1.Ottaviano Metro station It is a place to stay, it is the nearest Vatican Metro Station, very convenient
2. There are countless restaurants, cafes, Supermarkets, shops nearby, it is very simple and fast to buy food
3. The landlord has Whatsapp to contact, and the reply is how fast, good hospitality, because City TaxThe problem is patiently explainedI listen, Trip.com The document is written and received 24 Euros, and 28 Euros will be charged when you go, but in the end, you are willing to refund the difference than me.
4. You can cook and eat, basically all tableware stoves have and enough, with induction cooker, cooking Pasta easily no problem, there is a refrigerator/freezer with detergent
Although there is a lift on the first floor, there are few stairs.
6. Open the door lock to enter the building first, so it is a few security
There are many hangers, washing clothes and hanging clothes are all problems
👎:
1. It is more difficult to get to the actual accommodation location. You have to contact the owner and open the door early, but it is a quick reply.
2. The sheets and pillows are slightly stained, but I bring my own pillow bags and sheets, so they are all okay.
3. Stay for two nights, no room service, but it may be similar to an apartment relationship, it seems that only two nights are lived, so it has a big impact
4. shower or shampoo, bring your own shampoo and shower gel
5. The same unit has a room of 2-3, we only live in one of them, there will be others returning at night, there will be noise slightly
6. At night, the building will be darker, and there will be little surprises when going out or returning to Shanghai at night.

|0.99km from city centerWe booked two nights in this B&B without anyone knowing what expectations, we needed only a support to sleep and wash, and we had to spend the days out. But just when you entered this room, say that we were coming to cry is little! Room costs more than EUR 100 per night, without a need for too many words, I attach the photos. From the window a sparkling view, the various room accessories were falling in pieces, the abatjour was disconnecting from the wall, the hair dryer full of muffa, the dirty window!!! The small bathroom could not move inside, one thing never seen. There is no room to move between shower, washing and water!!!! And I don't want to talk about the neighborhood, outside the door of this residence, they were homeless everywhere on the ground. We are people who adapt, I repeat, we did not seek anything luxurious, but at least the minimum essential to stay dignified . The owner is a gentle person, my advice is to make this room not lively, but at least presentable, because it is not. The room was warm because of the presence of hot thermophones on the night and night hours. The mattress was comfortable and soft, you sleep well. But, unfortunately, with regard to location in itself, if you are looking for a minimum of decentness, I strongly advise you to change your place.

|3km from city centerVery good, we arrived early, it was too powerful to check in in advance. Early is simple but there is coffee drink fruit, a croissant per person, the room is cleaned every day, and the small refrigerator is replenished. The room is equipped with a coffee machine, a kettle, a hair dryer, and air conditioning.
The sign at the door is not obvious, but fortunately, the two just checked out and asked to confirm.
Not far from the subway, you can also walk to the Vatican Museum and the Cathedral.

Rome
|0.43km from city centerI feel a bit bad about the fact that mine is going to be the first not-so-great review for this place, but also feel like I ought to be honest. First, the good: it's a very well-maintained, charming, little (emphasis on ”little” ), place. Just four rooms and my room was quite small. and the bathroom was tiny. I honestly don't know if the others are larger, but for $450/night I was expecting more. Also, I guess I didn't realize that this isn't really a hotel. (My bad on that.) But there is no concierge to help you, and matters were made even more tricky in that while I was there the proprietor(s?) were away. I have no idea if they're normally more hands-on, but except for breakfast time, there really wasn't anyone around to ask about anything. The gentleman who was there serving breakfast was extremely nice and helpful, he just wasn't there much. Finally, given what I was paying, and the fact that I was coming off two strenuous weeks of work, and that it was crazy hot in Rome when I was there, I just wanted to be able to relax and not hassle with anything. But there are three different keys and codes you need to get in, it's up on the 4th (I think?) floor. There is a lift, but still some stairs down below, no restaurant, and all was just more work and more complicated than I had anticipated. All in all, it is a pretty place, with comfortable beds, good a/c and internet, etc. But imho, not a great value, and simply too small a room for the money.

|1.53km from city centerI highly recommend Ara di Marte Suires. Everything about our experience was wonderful. The staff is fantastic, the rooms are wonderful and very clean. The room far exceeded our expectations. The bed was comfortable and honestly the room is prettier in person than in any photos I've seen. The service is great. Daily breakfast delivered to your room was so good! We enjoyed it each morning on our balcony. The entry to the suites is magical and authentic. The suites are on the 4th floor. You enter through the Beautiful street doors and go back to the stairs (there is also a small lift/elevator for you to bring up your luggage.) We loved our stay.. especially the help of Laura! We will be back.

Rome
|0.98km from city centerThe hotel is not far from Rome Central Station. About 1.2 kilometers, within walking distance, the hotel can arrange pick-up and drop-off, 5 euros per person. Hotel-style apartment, no reception, in a traditional building in Rome, the hotel elevator is the kind of old-fashioned traditional elevator, very special. Friends who are used to star hotels can feel it. Mainly in such a central area, it only costs about RMB 2,600 for 4 nights, plus a city tax of 20 Euros. For me, who just lived in a hotel apartment in Paris 1 district for RMB 2,000 a night, the price/performance ratio is too high. The rooms are very clean and there are people cleaning them every day. The hotel also upgraded me to a superior suite with balcony for free. Like 👍. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and it feels very safe. Hotel rooms have coffee machines, kettles, refrigerators, safes, and hair dryers. There are cooking utensils and tableware in the communal living room and kitchen. very nice. There is a small restaurant frequented by locals in the next street. The owner is a kind old Italian man. The things are very affordable. The croissants and coffee are very cheap, which can solve the breakfast problem. The western restaurant on the corner downstairs tastes not bad, open until 11 o'clock in the evening. Like a filet steak. There are many buses near the hotel. For those who bought Roma pass, it is very convenient to go to various attractions.

|0.72km from city centerGood points: We had 'Room 1' and we were very pleased with the size of the room, and the bathroom facilities. The shower was strong and hot, and everything was pretty clean. The shared kitchen area was good, with plenty of utensils and kitchenware for use which made our stay in Rome a lot more budget friendly as we could cook our own meals if needed. There is a Pam grocery shop literally just down the street too. The staff member who greeted us on arrival was polite and friendly, and I have to say that the communication from this place before we arrived was also brilliant. We liked the security of the building, and the key fob doors made getting in and out super easy. The neighbourhood was fine and not too noisy at night, and it was walking distance to Roma Termini. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here. Bad point: There was just one really annoying thing which has stopped us rating this place as excellent. It happened every single night of our stay - there is a strange consistent humming/buzzing noise coming from above the room or to the side of the room. It started in the evening and went on throughout the whole night. It changes tone and frequency at lot which makes it massively distracting, and at first we thought it could have been the refrigerator or the AC unit in the room but it was neither of those things. It caused a bad night's sleep and we never heard it during the middle of the day which made it more annoying when it came on at night.

|0.64km from city centerJust returned from a perfect 4 night stay in Rome. Booked to stay at the 47 Steps after a change of date and original accommodation wasn't available and glad I did. The accommodation was great. Wanted to stay near to the main station and this is literally across the road Close to many restaurants and walking distance to all the sites. Rooms are located on the 2nd floor of a typical old building but once inside the rooms are modern and clean. We opted for the room with a balcony which whilst smaller than the others was perfect for our needs and included a fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks which was a really nice touch. Reception isn't maned 24/7 but can be contacted at anytime if needed, the ladies were very friendly and welcoming 😀 Would definitely stay again if we cone back to this beautiful city

The room was not very large but with everything that needs for two people, a daily cleaning of the best. The location is strategic to move in full comfort in the various areas of Rome, close to the metro stop line A and buses to the Colosseum area and crossover. The breakfast is not included, but you're sore with the snacks available all day. Paul is the added value, I will certainly keep in contact for any other visits to the capital.

|1.49km from city centerWe stayed here recently for three nights, and had a wonderful time. It is important to get your head around the fact that this is not a hotel, but a serviced room, with a breakfast thrown in. You are given details on how to access the apartments, which is pretty straight forward, and then you are pretty much left to your own devices. We got the train from the airport to the termini (14euro) and then the metro to Baberini, which is then a 10- 15 minute walk to the apartment. The apartments are tucked away off the main road, and so it took us a few minutes to find where we were meant to be heading, but we got there in the end ( I recommend Google maps) We had a queen room, and it was a decent size, very clean and comfortable. There is a nice bathroom, with a walk in shower, although the shower isn’t very powerful. You order your breakfast via WhatsApp the day before, and this is delivered to your room at the your requested time. The ladies who prepare the breakfast and clean your room are warm and friendly, and happy to help, and the breakfast is very good. The location of this place is superb. We managed to see all of the sights - Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Vatican, Trevi etc.. and we walked everywhere - although we slept well each night ( we are in our early 60’s) There is a lovely Irish bar just 50m from the apartments which we used after our long day to grab a beer, rest our feet, and watch the world go by. There are many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, but these start to fill up by around 8pm. If you want guided tours of the key sights, I would recommend booking them in advance. We booked a couple through trip advisor and they were very good. Finally, prior to arrival, you will be sent a message giving you codes to access the apartments. I strongly recommend that you write these down, as we very nearly had a disaster when my phone battery died, and we couldn’t access the codes or call anyone. Thankfully, the staff at the Irish bar were able to provide me with a charger! We did three nights, and I think this was sufficient to achieve what we wanted, and I think our feet were very grateful too! I would most definitely recommend these delightful rooms, and if ever we decide to return to Rome, we will certainly stay here again.

|0.89km from city centerWe arranged airport pickup through the hotel and was picked up by a well-suited driver even though our flight was delayed. Lorenzo was there at the hotel waiting for us. He patiently went through our booking, showed us the room and amenities and even gave us some directions and recommendations on where to go. There was a communal pantry area with free coffee available. We didn't manage to utilise it as it happened to run out of milk that day. Room was big and clean and was a very comfortable stay! It was walking distance to the Spanish steps. After that there was minimal visual of him but helpful with watsapp communication. We were next to another unit with a shared corridor door so opening doors can get loud when either of us leave or enter the units. Tip - from the main BIG wooden door, there is a flight of stairs to climb to reach the 2nd door to the building. Might be a feat for those with huge and heavy luggages.
