The place is really crowded, probably because it's the weekend, Left home at seven in the morning with my husband, arrived at Tai'an Ancient Town after 8, Didn't expect there to be so many people already... I read online that Qingcheng Back Mountain opens at 9 am, But after getting there, I found out it's not accurate, you can enter after eight. Hiking routes at Qingcheng Back Mountain: Short loop: Tai'an Ancient Town — Wulong Gully — Longyin Plank Road — Youyi Village — Jinli Cableway down the mountain — Tai'an Ancient Town (This is the route we took, normally it takes over two hours, but with the weekend crowd and photo-taking, it took us about four hours) Medium loop: Tai'an Ancient Town — Feiquan Gully — Baiyun Ancient Village — Baiyun Cableway down the mountain — Wulong Gully — Tai'an Ancient Town Long loop: Tai'an Ancient Town — Wulong Gully — Longyin Plank Road — Youyi Village — Baiyun Temple — Cuiming Lake — Feiquan Gully — Tai'an Ancient Town Personal recommendation: For hiking beginners or those who want to take photos, just walk the short loop. The Longyin Plank Road section is the most beautiful, and there are many small waterfalls in Wulong Gully, the rest is not as good-looking. If you are a serious hiking enthusiast, you can complete the long loop. Transportation: Self-driving 🚗 can navigate directly to Tai'an Ancient Town parking lot 🅿️ Really need to come early on weekends, we checked the map after ten and the roads outside were already severely congested, when we left at one, we also found a lot of traffic outside. Public transportation: First take the train 🚄 to Xipu Station, Qingcheng Mountain Station, then take a minibus from the station next to Qingcheng Mountain Station to the back mountain, directly to the entrance of Tai'an Ancient Town. Other Tips: 1. There are snack sellers all along the hiking route, or you can bring some water and snacks yourself. 2.
