XISHU GARDEN INN
4.8/5215 Reviews
Wenshu Monastery/Longhu Shangcheng Sky Street
While xishu is best for private rooms, the hostel experience too was nice. It's more of an expensive place if you are a backpacker. Mostly there are Europeans who don't worry much about taxi being 10 times the price of metro etc. So, as a hotel it performs well for that segment (white people mostly). The cleanliness is good. I wish the dorms would have some napkins or even hand wash. There is regular cleaning everyday. The front desk has young women who are humble and very helpful. The location is 5-10 mins walk to Wenzhou monastery station. From the airport it took me 1hr 40 mins in all to get here with one change of metro line. Breakfast is the best part if you need western options. Laundry and other facilities were beyond my budget. Overall very nice stay.

Housekeeping done a great job, front desk staffs are helpful. They been helpful with my parcel order. As foreigners, we really need some of their guidance. Bedroom is comfy, and the water heater n pressure are good too. Only a little transparency on the shower glass, which I noticed this is a norm thing in china. But my preference is still hope the frosted glass can be re enfored . Location is a plus. About 10 minutes to chunxi train station. I will still stay this hotel if I were to go again.

I stayed in this hotel during my trip and was pleasantly surprised. It is a complex with a bar and restaurant downstairs, which is very suitable for couples to date. It has a great value for money and the service is very detailed. There are afternoon tea and supper when you check in, and red bean paste drinks when you check out in the morning, which is just right for filling your stomach if you get up late and don't have breakfast. The toilet is fully separated into dry and wet areas, and the room is small and exquisite, with a medieval style. I like it very much and will choose this place again next time I come to play!

Honestly, I loved the stay here. The elevators can be a little tight if you do have large luggage but that wasn’t really an issue for us. It was convenient to get around and room was very clean! Hotel kept our luggage for us until midnight since we had a late flight.
NICESOE HOTEL
4.6/52177 Reviews
Wenshu Monastery/Longhu Shangcheng Sky Street
In the heart of Chengdu's vibrant cultural landscape, nestled mere steps away from the revered Wenshu Monastery, stands the unassuming yet conveniently situated hotel that has become the subject of my recent sojourn. While the property's proximity to one of the city's premier tourist destinations is undoubtedly a boon, the mere 10-minute stroll from the nearest metro station is somewhat offset by the arduous 1.5-hour commute from the Tianfu Airport. However, this minor inconvenience is more than compensated for by the hotel's close proximity to a veritable cornucopia of local eateries, each offering a tantalizing array of regional delicacies. Furthermore, the establishment's fundamental standards of cleanliness and tidiness, coupled with its remarkably affordable pricing, render it a tempting proposition for the discerning traveler. Regrettably, the hotel's secluded location may give rise to certain reservations, particularly for female guests, who may find the sense of isolation somewhat unsettling. The complete absence of cold water, a fundamental amenity, is a glaring oversight that can only be described as utterly deplorable and potentially hazardous. Adding to the compound's woes is the curious configuration of the floor upon which I have been granted lodging, which appears to be a curious amalgamation of guest quarters and staff dormitories, lending an air of awkwardness to the proceedings. Finally, the presence of a tea set devoid of its essential component – the tea leaves – is a peculiarity that, while not entirely crippling, nonetheless serves to underscore the minor oversights that have crept into the hotel's otherwise commendable service. In conclusion, while the Wenshu Monastery hotel presents a compelling proposition for the budget-conscious traveler seeking convenient access to Chengdu's cultural treasures, the shortcomings outlined above cannot be overlooked, and prospective guests would do well to weigh the pros and cons with due diligence before committing to their stay.
Rayfont Hotel & Apartment Chengdu

Chengdu East Railway Station/Tazishan Park
On December 30, 10:30 p.m. Due to booking the wrong month and my inexperienced language communication As a result, I almost had a security deposit of 96 yuan collected from the official. For the reason that they did not trust me to stay. I had to show the luggage slip to the staff to confirm my continued stay. Make him change his mind about not doing that. Luckily I still have the same type of room. and can stay continuously for 3 days without having to move rooms around And on the last day, I still have to use the luggage storage service. to prepare for the return trip
Westcare Hotel (Chengdu South Railway Station)
4.6/5694 Reviews
South Railway Station/Tianfu Cade mall
The hotel is close to the South Railway Station, with a big entrance, clean rooms, and a large room area. It is spacious for children to stay with. The bay window is large and has a cushion, so it is no problem to sleep lying down. The room is very quiet and soundproof, and there is no soundproofing problem as I worried about after reading the reviews. Takeaways can be delivered to the door of the room. The front desk customer service and the room cleaning aunt are very warm and friendly. Because the room type is tight on the day of check-in, the front desk also took the initiative to upgrade the family room. It is very good and worth staying.

I recently stayed at this hotel and found its location near Chengdu East Railway Station very convenient. It made getting to Jiuzhaigou on an early schedule quite easy. Mcsrh Hotel (Chengdu Hongpailou Branch)

A red building/Pleasure City business district
I was very impressed by the service of the two young women at the reception. They helped me pay for my taxi and were very friendly. The room was well equipped and was cleaned every day. What I found a little negative was that people were smoking everywhere, even though there are no smoking signs everywhere.
Weilan Hotel (Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley Shop)

Chengdu University of TCM/Kuanzhai Alley nearby area
The entrance to this place is a little hard to find a quite dodgy, however the hotel itself is very clean and modern. The room is spacious and clean, it is also very well equipped with modern facilities. The modern Japanese toilets with a really well kitted out shower was amazing. They also had the best quality in-room slippers I've ever seen. Bed was wide and spacious. The location was central and there were a lot of local snacks around. Service was also good.
