Procurement
We encourage potential vendors to register and explore available business opportunities.
Companies offering goods, works, or services relevant to UNESCO and adhering to United Nations Procurement Policies can register as potential suppliers on the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) website.
When selecting contractors, UNESCO prioritizes transparency, competitiveness, and effectiveness, favouring open international competition.

Supplier protest
Registration on UNGM does not guarantee inquiries or tenders from UNESCO but is a key resource for procurement.
Vendors who wish to raise issues about the contract process can file complaints with the relevant UNESCO contracting unit. If unsatisfied, they may escalate the issue to the Chief Financial Officer in the Bureau of Financial Management at bfm.fpc@unesco.org.
Allegations of misconduct or corruption are forwarded directly to the Office of Internal Oversight.
