On 26 November 2024, Bombela Operating Company in partnership with OSHEQS Health and Safety Solutions hosted a Prostate Cancer Awareness event at Marlboro Station – in line with our commitment to supporting the health and well-being of our staff, this initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to create a safe, supportive, and informed workplace. During the event, our male employees participated in a non-invasive Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) screening, which measures the level of PSA in the blood to help screen for prostate cancer. Early detection can make a significant difference, and we’re proud to offer this opportunity to our team. At Bombela Operating Company, we value the health of our employees as much as we do their professional growth and development. It’s part of our broader commitment to ensuring that all members of our team have the support and resources they need to thrive, both in the workplace and in life. #ProstateCancerAwareness #EmployeeWellBeing #BombelaOperatingCompany #HealthAndSafety #SupportingOurTeam #EmployeeCare #PSA #WorkplaceWellness Nthabiseng Kubheka Adeyemi Ishekwene Pr.Eng, M.Eng, GCC Arnold Sivhada Didier Lescloupé Guiter Hlungwani Puseletso Makhubo

This #Movember, we’re asking, "What Moves You?" Meet Given Seabi, who shares an inspiring message. For him, “Knowledge is Power.” We are reminded of the critical role that knowledge plays in health and wellness. Understanding how to prevent health challenges, like cancer and other men’s health issues, is the first step in taking action. Learning the signs, knowing when to go for screenings, and staying informed empowers each of us to make a difference - not only for ourselves but for our friends, families, and communities. Let’s move towards a healthier future. Let’s continue to share knowledge, raise awareness, and take proactive steps to support men’s health. Together, we can make a meaningful impact. #MensHealth #BombelaMovember #WhatMovesYou #BombelaOperatingCompany Nthabiseng Kubheka Adeyemi Ishekwene Pr.Eng, M.Eng, GCC Arnold Sivhada Didier Lescloupé Guiter Hlungwani Puseletso Makhubo

This #Movember, we’re asking, "What Moves You?" For Resego Garreth Apollos, three simple words have been a constant source of motivation and strength: "You’ve got this!“ These powerful words remind us of the importance of self-empowerment and believing in our ability to overcome any challenge. Life throws obstacles at us, but finding that inner drive can move us forward, even in the toughest times. As we embrace the Movember movement, let’s shine a light on men’s health – physical, mental, and emotional. To every man out there: You’ve got this! Whether it's tackling stress, staying active, or simply showing up every day, remember that you’re stronger than you think. Let these words move you and the men in your life to stay motivated, seek support, and keep pushing forward. Together, we can empower each other to live healthier, fuller lives. What moves you? This #DisabilityRightsAwarenessMonth, we celebrate 30 years of democracy and the ongoing journey toward a disability-inclusive society. The theme "Celebrating 30 Years of Democracy: Creating a Disability-Inclusive Society for a Better Quality of Life and the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" resonates deeply as we continue to advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in all spaces, including public transport. Did you know? Guide dogs are allowed on board the Gautrain to assist blind and visually impaired passengers on their journey! This ensures that everyone has the support they need to travel safely and independently. At Bombela Operating Company (PTY) LTD, we’re committed to fostering an inclusive society, where accessibility and the rights of persons with disabilities are protected every day. #DRAM #InclusiveTransport #BombelaOperatingCompany #EmpowermentThroughInclusion #30YearsOfDemocracy Nthabiseng Kubheka Adeyemi Ishekwene Pr.Eng, M.Eng, GCC Arnold Sivhada Didier Lescloupé Guiter Hlungwani Puseletso Makhubo

As we continue through #Movember, we reflect on the power of resilience, the spirit of brotherhood, and the journeys that define us. For many at Bombela Operating Company (PTY) LTD, “What Moves You” means digging deep and finding strength within to overcome challenges – all while inspiring others. Take it from our team member Sihle Vilane, who shares his personal motivation. Whether it's showing up every day, supporting a colleague, or meeting challenges head-on, we’re reminded that moving forward often begins with a purpose that’s bigger than ourselves. This November, we not only grow moustaches but also grow our commitment to mental health awareness, resilience, and strength. We’re proud to stand together, breaking down stigmas around men's health and motivating one another to be stronger – for ourselves and each other. #MensHealth #BombelaMovember #whatMOVESyou #BombelaOperatingCompany Nthabiseng Kubheka Adeyemi Ishekwene Pr.Eng, M.Eng, GCC Arnold Sivhada Didier Lescloupé Guiter Hlungwani Puseletso Makhubo

This #Movember, we’re asking, "What Moves You?" We’re proud to foster a culture that supports our team members' physical, mental, and emotional health, recognizing that true well-being goes beyond the workday. Meet Cornelius Nortje, who shares his personal journey on why it’s crucial to take time for self-care, supported by the resources we have in place at Bombela Operating Company (PTY) LTD: "Being in a high-performance environment can sometimes elevate stress levels. BOC makes it easier for us by offering wellness resources, including mental health support and regular check-ins with our onsite clinic. I would encourage that everyone to undergo annual medical and psychological assessments, as at times, stress levels can have a negative impact. It’s essential we set the example, showing that health – physical and mental – matters at every level.“ Through initiatives like annual screenings and the employee assistance programme, we’re proud to help our team prioritise their health. #MensHealth #BombelaMovember #WhatMovesYou #BombelaOperatingCompany Nthabiseng Kubheka Adeyemi Ishekwene Pr.Eng, M.Eng, GCC Arnold Sivhada Didier Lescloupé Guiter Hlungwani Puseletso Makhubo
