Did you know? 🚍 The buses in Boulogne-sur-Mer on France's northern coast facilitate over 3.5 million journeys each year.   With 77% of stops accessible and 90% of buses equipped with ramps, the network is working to ensure everyone has equal access to essential destinations like schools, healthcare and businesses. It’s also looking ahead by testing hydrogen and electric buses to support a sustainable future! 🌿   🤝 The Marineo network, operated by RATP Dev for the Boulogne-sur-Mer conurbation, recently welcomed Jean Castex, CEO of RATPgroup, to engage with local teams and further discussions on sustainable urban mobility.   During his visit, Jean Castex was joined by Serge Reynaud, Director of RATP Dev France-Suisse, and together they met with Frédéric CUVILLIER, President of the Communauté d'Agglomération du Boulonnais and Mayor of Ville de Boulogne-sur-Mer, as well as Christian Fourcroy, Vice President of the Communauté d'Agglomération du Boulonnais. We’re charting a bold new course for mobility in Saudi Arabia. 🌟🚆    This week, we participated in Saudi Rail in Riyadh, a key event that unites industry leaders shaping the future of Saudi Arabia’s urban rail network.   Abdeljabbar Ben Salem, Senior VP of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates at RATP Dev, led discussions on rail technology advancements and developing local expertise in the region. He shared how our expertise in public transport aligns with Vision 2030’s goals, focusing on transferring knowledge, attracting local talent and promoting inclusion in Saudi Arabia.     As part of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia aims to increase the participation of local employees and businesses in its economy under a broader strategy for economic diversification and growth in key sectors such as transportation. We are thrilled to contribute to this vision through major public transportation projects.   💡 At CAMCO - Capital Metro Company - كامكو - شركة مترو العاصمة, our subsidiary established in partnership with سابتكو | SAPTCO, 70% of our workforce consists of local talent. What's defining the next generation of public transport?    Our recent work on automated metro systems is paving the way for Metro 2.0—a next-generation transit solution that places humans at the core of operations. ⚙️🔧👷♀️    At yesterday's Ville, Rail & Transports Conference, Louis Villié, managing director of ORA L15 South for the Grand Paris Express project, emphasized the value of humans in automated metro systems. The ORA consortium led by RATP Dev with Alstom and ComfortDelGro, will operate the 33-kilometer Line 15 South, connecting 16 stations and reshaping mobility in the Greater Paris region.     Louis Villié shared how our integrated design approach, which actively involves operators during the design phase, enhances operator efficiency and aligns metro systems with passenger needs. This approach is central to projects like the upcoming Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport. Similarly in Serbia we are collaborating with the city of Belgrade to design its future automated metro network.    He also stressed the importance of modernizing existing networks to meet evolving demands, citing Paris’s Metro Line 14 as a prime example. Originally launched in 1998 as the world’s first fully automated metro, it recently doubled in length to 28 kilometers and its automatic control system was completely renewed ahead of the 2024 Paris Games.   Metro 2.0 is redefining public transport by integrating automation with human-centered design. 🤝 In partnership with the Fondation groupe RATP, we are proud to launch “Bridges of Opportunities” to uplift vulnerable youth in Cairo. ✨ This multi-stakeholder initiative, carried out by Samusocial International Egypte and supported by the Agence Française de Développement and Egyptian organizations - Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, Ora Developers Egypt, and ALEXBANK, seeks to empower at-risk youth and foster stronger inclusive communities. It will directly benefit approximately 450 children and young people living on the streets, providing access to education, sports, arts and vocational training️. 🎓 RATP Dev Mobility Cairo will play a key role in this program by offering mentorship and internships, as well as mobility support, to ensure these young people have the opportunities they deserve. The RATP Group Foundation is providing financial resources and supporting the socio-professional integration of 120 young people aged 15 to 24, focusing on essential educational and life skills. RATP Dev Casablanca is transforming urban mobility in Morocco! 🚋🌍  Since launching in December 2012, our Casablanca tramway network has served over 350 million passengers, offering a fast, reliable alternative to the city’s busy streets. With 4 tramway lines, including the newly launched T3 and T4 lines, our network now spans 100 km and comprises 150 stations, seamlessly connecting the city’s key areas and reducing congestion. 🚈  In addition, our two Bus Rapid Transit lines provide access to 40 bus stops across Casablanca. 🎉 Celebrating three years of service, innovation, and sustainability with Autolinee Toscane! 🎉     It’s been three years since our subsidiary autolinee toscane began operating bus services in Tuscany. In this time, Autolinee Toscane has made significant advancements in revitalizing the region’s public transport:     🚍 ~3,000 buses in operation. 🤝 1,200 new hires, including 556 employees trained in-house. 📲 A range of passenger-focused services, including real-time bus updates, a digital ticketing system, and an app with over 1 million downloads.   ✅ 17,000 security cameras and direct communication with passengers for enhanced safety and service transparency.   Federico Tonetti, CEO of RATP Dev Italy, highlighted the transformative potential of public transport, stating: “After three years of service, we have reached a pivotal moment where local public transport in Tuscany can become the main driver of a region that is accessible without relying solely on private vehicles.
