It's the season of family, friends, food, festivities, and fun! CANSA would like to remind everyone to take care of their health during this time and be mindful of the toll alcohol takes on their bodies and loved ones. Many don’t realize that any type of alcohol, even in small amounts, increases cancer risk. The more alcohol consumed, the higher the risk. This festive season, we encourage you to lower your alcohol intake to protect your health. Learn more about the hidden dangers of alcohol and get tips on reducing your intake here: https://lnkd.in/dNWAEz4z #LowerCancerRisk #NoAlcohol #CANSAAdvocacy

The holiday season is here and while we are getting ready for fun, leisurely breaks, rest and relaxation, the one area where we cannot take a break is protecting ourselves and our loved ones from harmful UV rays! Check your skin carefully every month by doing a mole check - ask a family member or friend to examine your back and the top of your head. If you notice any of the warning signs, see a doctor or dermatologist as soon as possible. Find more information and resources about staying SunSmart here: https://lnkd.in/d5QnXjr Stay safe, enjoy the season, and remember: Protect your skin—it’s the only one you’ve got! #SunSmart #CANSASmartChoice #LowerCancerRisk
