  • Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) plays a crucial role in driving the growth of Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) in emerging markets. Effective ESD programmes provide SMMEs with access to resources, mentorship, and funding, enabling them to overcome the unique challenges faced in dynamic and often volatile economies. The B-BBEE Commission explains that these programmes are a catalyst for sustainable growth. By helping SMMEs improve their capabilities, scale operations, and become more competitive on a global stage, we are impacting the economic growth of our country.
