Content Team Lead at FDC | Expert in LinkedIn Content Creation | I write for international C-Suite executives and CEOs | I turn 10 views a post into 10 000 |

In the dynamic landscape of... If you've read a LinkedIn post that begins with this - congrats, you've consumed some premium-grade AI content. It's all over LinkedIn, it's all over the internet, and quite frankly, it's trash. Give me the name of one landscape that isn't dynamic! As someone who sees about 10 of these a day scrolling through LinkedIn, as well as all the other classic ChatGPT phrases, it starts to become really apparent who is taking shortcuts. How can we trust anything you have to say if what you're saying is coming from the same glorified smart toaster that is writing everyone else's content? In a world where everything starts to look the same because of AI-generated text, guess how you stand out... You write authentically and say things that only you would ever say. Instead of a dynamic landscape, start a post with: "Well, this just turns our whole industry upside down, doesn't it?" Or "Bananas - absolutely bananas - this is going to tip the scales in our industry." Or even "HOT NUDE MODELS - now that I have your attention, take a look at this article from the Economist." Take a chance. LinkedIn isn't a stuffy boardroom where only approved AI lines work. At FDC, we take no prisoners when it comes to AI-generated content.

Senior Account Executive at FDC Connect | LinkedIn Strategy | Personal Branding

When I started as an account executive at FDC, I used to think it was just about smashing targets and hitting numbers, but there’s so much more to it. I’ve learned that it’s about building trust, solving problems, and sometimes just being the voice of reason on a chaotic day. It’s a role that demands resilience, quick thinking, and the ability to wear multiple hats—sometimes all at once. Over the years, I’ve picked up a few lessons that have stuck with me, and could prove useful to some of you: 1️⃣ Pause Before Reacting Whether it’s a client message or a potential issue, I’ve learned to give things a moment before responding—or worse, taking the blame outright. Nine times out of ten (don’t quote me on that), a little patience reveals that you weren’t wrong in the first place. Don’t self-implicate unnecessarily. Trust your process and remember that your experience is your greatest asset. 2️⃣ Be Assertive and Own Your Role As the account executive, you’re the professional. Clients and teams look to you for guidance. It’s not just about facilitating; it’s about leading conversations, setting boundaries, and making informed decisions. Confidence is key. 3️⃣ Celebrate the Highs Yes, there are restless nights, tough conversations, and moments where the Wi-Fi cuts out during a crucial call. But then there’s the excitement of clients closing a deal, seeing a campaign come to life, or getting that “thank you” from a happy client. Those moments make the hustle worth it. Being an AE is equal parts art and science, requiring both a thick skin and a soft touch.

🔓 Unlock the Power of Networking to Transform Your Business & Life | We Help You Leverage LinkedIn to Build a Personal Brand & Connect with the Right People for Lasting Success 🚀

For almost three years now, I’ve been immersed in an operational role at FDC, focusing on structuring and scaling the business, helping it grow from the inside out. It’s been an incredible journey of strategy, planning, and optimizing. Recently, I decided to step out of the boardroom and into the trenches, rolling up my sleeves to work directly with our clients. And let me tell you… it’s been humbling, inspiring, and a little bit like learning to swim by jumping into the deep end. (Pro tip: Clients don’t wait for you to find your floaties.) What I’ve discovered is that there’s nothing quite like being in the thick of it, experiencing firsthand how our business truly operates and where the opportunities to improve lie. Listening to client challenges, brainstorming solutions on the spot, and seeing the immediate impact has given me a whole new appreciation for the work we do. This shift has also reinforced one key lesson: growth isn’t just about scaling upwards; it’s about staying connected to the foundation. To anyone thinking about taking on a similar challenge, do it! The insights you’ll gain and the connections you’ll build are worth every “wait, let me figure that out” moment. Here’s to learning, growing, and keeping it real, one client meeting at a time.

LinkedIn Account Executive at Black Marketing - Personal Branding For Entrepreneurs since 2013

💡 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲-𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀-𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴! Messaging on LinkedIn isn’t just about sending a connection request and hoping for the best. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that every message should feel like it’s written for the person on the other end. Some tips that work wonders:  1️⃣ 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲, don’t generalize – Canned messages are a quick scroll to the left. Take two seconds to reference something specific. It goes a long way.  2️⃣ 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 – No one has time for a novel in their inbox. Short, to the point, and add some real value!  3️⃣ 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, not you – We’re here to connect, not to pitch. Think less “what can I sell?” and more “how can I help?” https://lnkd.in/dEA57GGX

Ready. Aim. Fire. ❌ Ready. Fire. Aim. ✅ Such a great message isn't it? And I'm sure you read the snippet and thought... mhmm. Your mind went racing a bit. That's the power of a great hook. It made him spiral and share something so mind-blowing. Actually, a few months back, I shared that one of the best places to get content ideas is in the comment sections. This video is a perfect example of how a comment can be such a powerful content idea. He created the video, not answering the comment but acknowledging that it's a great topic and further adding to the comment. He amplified the idea. This strategy has worked quite well for my clients at FDC. BUT… what made him notice the comment was HOW it was written. The truth is many people probably said the exact same thing, but this one stood out. Why? I mean, it's clearly meant to hook you.   It's a great hook because it shares an unpopular opinion; it's short, punchy, and actually tells you in super simple terms how to fix a problem. Many of your purchasing decisions are triggered by hooks; you just aren't always aware of this truth.

Account Executive at FDC | Graduate from Varsity College | BComm Marketing Management

As an Account Executive at FDC, I have learnt firsthand how important it is to track the right metrics to keep growing. LinkedIn is an incredible platform for expanding your brand and connecting with the right audience—if you know how to make sense of the numbers. Here are some ways I approach LinkedIn metrics to drive real results: • 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 – Likes and comments go beyond visibility; they’re signs your content is connecting. It’s worthwhile monitoring these closely to understand what resonates.  • 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 – Regularly checking profile views shows you if your content and profile updates are drawing interest from the right people.  • 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 – Growth is great, but relevance is crucial. Focussing on building a network that aligns with your goals is always necessary. • 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 -  Analyzing which posts perform best helps tailor future content to what your audience values. Consistently tracking these metrics will allow you to fine-tune your strategy, improve engagement, and expand your professional network the right way. How do you make the most of your LinkedIn metrics?
