It was a high-frequency environment at HENSOLDT as we hosted the South African Air Force Electronic Warfare Systems course delegation. This collaboration provided hands-on exposure to practical industry principles, equipping these officers to tackle the evolving challenges of modern defence.   Our goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practical application, enhancing the South African Air Force’s capabilities. Pioneering the future! HENSOLDT enjoyed participating in the Youth Development Programme (YDP) at the Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) Show. This annual initiative is committed to igniting a passion for STEM among young learners, offering them a platform to explore dynamic careers in defence and technology. We had the privilege of welcoming thousands of high-achieving students, providing them with opportunities to engage directly with our experts and explore the innovative technologies shaping the future of defence. Through hands-on science experiments, interactive tech quizzes and demonstrations of our advanced systems, we aimed to inspire and guide students toward exciting STEM careers. The man that leads 8 000 employees, our Group CEO, Oliver Dörre, took the time to meet with our young professionals and exchanged inspiring ideas.
