About us

Founded by Dale Parker and Clive Walker, it's now managed by the Lapalala Wilderness Foundation, a non-profit led by patrons Duncan Parker and Gianni Ravazzotti. Sharing a vision of sustainable conservation and youth education, the Foundation relies on donations and partnerships. The Lapalala Wilderness School, under Director Mashudu Makhokha, has become a renowned center for environmental education, offering programs like youth development, outreach, teacher training, and even tertiary-level courses with internships.
