About us
The Masimong Foundation was created in 2018 as a registered non-profit organisation which serves to uplift, empower and inspire the people and communities in and around South Africa. The foundation recognised the social challenges that are currently affecting our country and aims to work hand in hand with our partners and communities to provide meaningful and sustainable programmes. The Masimong Foundation forms part of the Masimong Group’s Social Transformation Strategy. Masimong Group is a diversified majority black owned and controlled investment company focused on driving sustainable long-term growth and value creation within its investment portfolio of sizeable listed and unlisted businesses. Transformation is entrenched in the Group’s investment philosophy and culture. The Masimong Broad-based Trust was founded as a mechanism to support selective community development and sustainable black female and youth empowerment. The non-profit Masimong Foundation is a primary beneficiary of the Trust.
