Responsibilities: • Deal Sourcing and Identification: • Proactively identify potential acquisition opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and networking.  • Evaluate strategic fit, financial viability, and potential risks associated with target brokerages or offices. • Financial Analysis and Due Diligence:  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation modelling, to assess the feasibility and potential returns of proposed transactions. • Lead due diligence efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to evaluate legal, financial, operational, and regulatory aspects of target brokerages or offices. • Transaction Structuring and Negotiation: • Develop deal structures and negotiation strategies to maximize value and mitigate risks for the company. • Engage in negotiations with target companies, shareholders, and other stakeholders to achieve favourable terms and agreements. • Stakeholder Management • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and functional teams, to ensure alignment of M&A activities with overall business objectives. • Build partnerships, networks and business expansion • Integration Planning and Execution:  • Monitor and track integration progress, addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the integration process. Minimum requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Advanced degree in Financial degree preferred. • Professional certifications such as CFA or CFP a plus. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services, preferably within distribution and / or broker environment, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or management consulting, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and integration.
