Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting Zeppelin University students at our hub in PHILIPPI VILLAGE, where they explored the space and visited the newly established Philippi Village rooftop garden. 🌿✨ During their visit, they gained insights into the challenges of running businesses in resource-constrained communities, hearing firsthand from local entrepreneurs who shared their stories, motivations, and experiences. The Motsepe Foundation will shortlist 30 finalists who will complete the online course. After 5 weeks, candidates will pitch to a panel of internal judges, with the top 5 entrepreneurs shortlisted to advance to phase 2. Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting students from the CEMS MIM Global Citizenship course, convened by Prof Ralph Hamann at Solution Space, Philippi Village. 🌍✨ The discussions focused on the realities of running businesses in resource-constrained communities. Thank you to the entrepreneurs for sharing their personal journeys, the challenges they face, and what drives them to keep going. 💡💼 Our team also presented on the work we do in supporting early-stage ventures and the role we play in addressing youth unemployment through entrepreneurship and innovation.
