  • "The future depends on what you do today." Mahatma Gandhi's powerful words remind us that the seeds of change are planted in the actions we take today. This sentiment was echoed at the Entrepreneur’s Year-End Function hosted by Hetty The Entrepreneur. As we close 2024 and set our sights on 2025, United Way South Africa, through its entrepreneur programs, is dedicated to driving economic growth by: * Innovating and fostering creativity. * Creating new jobs and expanding opportunities. * Introducing impactful products and services. * Encouraging competition and improving living standards. Together, we aim to address unmet needs, stimulate local economies, and inspire the entrepreneurial spirit within our communities. Let us build a brighter future, one innovation at a time. #UnitedWayZA #HettyTheEntrepreneur #EYE24 #OldMutualSMEGo #Impact #EconomicDevelopment #Entrepreneurship #SME

  • Observing the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children At United Way South Africa, we recognize that gender-based violence is a critical challenge in our communities. As part of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, we engaged in Boys and Girls Social Intervention Programs from 26 to 30 November 2024. These initiatives address the issue at its roots, focusing on education, empowerment, and fostering alternatives to violence. We are thrilled to conclude our Boys and Girls Workshop at Tshepang Care in Tembisa’s Vusimuzi Informal Settlement! Through this workshop, we encouraged future leaders to embrace non-violence and learn healthier, more constructive ways of living. To reinforce our commitment to their health, safety, education, and well-being, we ended the program by providing the boys and girls with hygiene packs. Because hygiene matters, and every child deserves the opportunity to thrive! Let us do more together! Help us continue to support these children with hygiene packs and holiday groceries by donating today through our secure link: 👉 https://lnkd.in/eJxRwHWA Every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can create a brighter, healthier future for our youth and communities. #UnitedWayZA #EmpoweringYouth #HealthAndHygiene #CommunityDevelopment #Impact #HealthyPeople #16DaysOfActivism #CorporateCaring
