Siphelele Nqaba’s story is a powerful reminder of the systemic challenges women face in entrepreneurship—where courage and innovation are often met with exploitation and harassment. No woman should have to choose between her dreams and her dignity. It’s time to create a world where female founders can thrive in safe, equitable ecosystems. Let’s dismantle barriers, hold exploitative practices accountable, and empower women to lead without compromise. Due Diligence - a process that can feel daunting, your business, your financials and your processes under scrutiny! And no one does it as intensely as the Germans - leaving no stone unturned. So excited to come out of the process with flying colours and be awarded a groundbreaking project with GIZ South Africa, Lesotho & eSwatini building on our work to develop and support female founders in Sustainability. This brings more of the much needed funding and a wide array of opportunities, allowing us to scale the already impactful work we’ve started with the 2X Global Climate Gender Equity Fund. WomHub continues to be the premium gender lens ecosystem in Africa. In the words of the IFC - International Finance Corporation team visiting our hub this week “We have never seen anything like this!” Want to come see what makes us such a trusted advisor to partners & clients, developer of incredible entrepreneurs, and investor in the leading female founders? Reach out and come and visit us at any one of our Innovation Hubs across South Africa! #DueDillience #NewProject #FemaleFounders #Sustainability #CGEF #Investment #Sustainbility #RenewableEnergy #genderlens Anjani Harjeven Hema Vallabh
