Zambia Breweries, in collaboration with WWF, is leading the charge against climate change by safeguarding our precious freshwater sources. Together, we're enhancing water investment and empowering local communities to make a lasting impact. Through innovative initiatives like Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration in the Kafue Basin, we're combating soil erosion and minimizing river sedimentation. This proactive approach helps prevent harmful runoff that endangers our vital water bodies. These efforts not only protect Zambia's natural resources but also pave the way for a sustainable future for generations to come. Join us in celebrating the positive impact of climate action today as we strive for a greener tomorrow filled with more cheers!

Yesterday, we proudly launched the 2024/25 Sorghum farming season in Chirundu district! Present at the launch were our Legal and Corporate Affairs Director Mr Tawanda S. Hojane, Mr Chris Nicolle our Agriculture Manager, Our Sorghum Agronomist Mr George Mosha, as well as representatives from our all-weather partners the Ministry of Agriculture, Griffin, and The World Food Program. This climate-resilient crop is vital for both Zambian Breweries and the hardworking local farmers whose livelihoods it supports. The farmers present at the launch were given an introduction to land preparation, planting, and crop management practices. This technical support will continue being provided throughout the season in collaboration with various stakeholders. During the event we also distributed 500Kg of Kuyuma Sorghum seed - a high performance and resilient sorghum variety. Through our Smart Agriculture program, we're dedicated to empowering farmers to ensure they are skilled, connected, and financially empowered. Cheers to sustainable farming, community growth, and a successful season ahead! 🌟 #SorghumSeason #EmpoweringFarmers #ZambianBreweries
