About
“Say Ya Grace” serves as the third track from Cole Bennett from Lyrical Lemonade’s debut studio album, All is Yellow. The track sees both Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty and Chicago rapper Chief Keef reuniting once again in which they rap about their lavish lifestyles.
Chief Keef made the original version of song in 2019, it was first teased on July 15, 2019, when the song could be heard playing in the background of an Instagram story posted by Peeda Pan who is Chief Keef’s manager. It was expected to be released on his upcoming album, Almighty So 2, but it ended up leaking on March 25, 2023.
This version of the track was first teased on April 8, 2023, during a behind-the-scenes look for “Strike (Holster),” Cole revealed some information about the compilation album, as well as revealing that a track with Yachty, Keef, and LUCKI would be on the album:
Been working on the Lyrical Lemonade album nonstop. It’s insane. I’m trying to do a video for every song on the album. Sixteen songs. But this song I got, that Yachty’s about to hop on, Sosa, Yachty, and LUCKI.
During an interview with Kids Take Over on October 1, 2023, Cole Bennett went into detail more about the collaboration track and how he managed to make Chief Keef wear a suit for the upcoming music video.
Then on December 6, 2023, Cole Bennett stated that LUCKI wasn’t able to finish his verse for the album in time and ultimately wouldn’t end up on the song.
I have sad news, lucki didn’t finish his verse in time. everything else I’m seeing is accurate so far though. love you all 🫶
