About “Beach Music”
Beach Music was written and recorded in Alex G’s apartment, between the Fall of 2014 and the Spring of 2015, during breaks from touring with the Elvis Depressedly, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Gardens & Villa, and Speedy Ortiz. It was shaped by his adapting to life as a touring musician.
The cover was painted by his sister, and portrays Rama hugging the monkey god Hanuman. It has nothing to do with the album.
