As we bid farewell to 2024 its hard to believe we're fast approaching the quarter point of this century. A lot's happened, and a lot has changed.

While the last few years in Coventry have been marked by Covid, cost of living and seemingly endless general elections, the early years of the century felt like different times.

The Sky Blues were still at Highfield Road, New Years Sales felt like more of a thing and Coventry had a farm in the city. Given the changes, it's hard to picture what things might look like in another 25 years as we approach 2050.

Take a look back with us as we delve through some of our pictures from the heady days of the noughties, including Yoko Ono, old nightclubs, Christmases past and a high street stalwart whose demise seemed to fire the starting gun for the turmoil faced by big name retailers.

What do you think the next 25 years will hold for Cov? And do you long for those past days, or are we in a better place now? Have your say in the comments below.
