Not a typical hotel. Not what we expected. We only spent one night before a cruise. The set up is more like a guest house. It is spread between 2 buildings. Will caution that You must be able to climb stairs with luggage for rooms in the second building. Not certain if there's an elevator. The buildings are old with renovated rooms. Rooms are clean. Hot water works. Slept poorly due to noise and music from the restaurant below, street noise. Hard mattresses. The staff was pleasant so I gave a 3 because of that. Otherwise, I would give a 2. Not a 4 star hotel. Would not stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff helped make this a pleasant stay. The location is in a nice walkable area with a bus stop right outside of the hotel. The bargan rate hotel is next to one of the best value restaurants in the area. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well. Our room was up one and a half flights of stairs so not good for handicap people or anyone who has heavy luggage. We did not find out about the room with tea and coffee until the end of our stay. The port is nearby. We took a taxi from the train station but it is close enough to walk. Check our google maps.

Best location, cleanest and worth value. This is not my first time in Templers but always have new experience better than previous. It’s at the best location in Haifa which you can do you business meetings around, take a tour at any spare time and eat best food around it.

Great mid price boutique hotel in the prime location, renovated, very helpful staff at front desk, and immediately next door to the best restaurant in Haifa - Fattoush. It doesnt have a pool but we wanted just to sleep and shower and enjoy the city. Will def be back if we need to stay in Haifa again. The hotel is quiet but on the street with all the restaurants and right at the bottom of Bahai gardens.

Located in the German colony with many restaurants close by and a 10 minute stroll from the Central station this is an ideal hotel to stay at when exploring Haifa. While the photo shoot of the hotel have been cleverly framed the hotel is convenient, the staff were friendly and informative and the room was very clean, spacious and quiet considering proximity to bars and restaurants. Breakfast is taken next door or directly opposite at a choice of restaurants and all were very good. I would stay again without hesitation and recommend to others..

Excellent service, fun rooms, but each is slightly different. Ours were "superior" with balconies and were great. Good to note that they were in a separate building from reception (right next door) and there was no elevator - 2 stories up a narrow staircase. my husband and I and our teenage son had a great stay and will return if we're in Haifa again.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the German colony in Haifa. Walking distance to the Ba’hai center and gardens, vadi nisnas, talpiot market. Lots of great food establishments around. Each room in the hotel is different. We got a room we didn’t love but it was a jet sinks style issue. The room was too modern for us. The lobby has a nice sofa, tea station. Great service.

This hotel is over-rated. There were several things wrong with our hotel room and service that ruined our experience. The main one was that the room was dirty. The detail cleaning under the bed and in the corner of the floors of the toilet area was bad, there was visible accumulations of dirt and debris. The grout in the shower was mildewed. One of the fitted sheets was dirty, but they were also scratchy and uncomfortable. Also, although they provided free coffee and bottled water, they did not replace these for our 2nd night of stay, nor did they even pick up the dirty cups when they made up our room. The floor in the shower area – wood slats over a concrete pad – also seemed dirty and maybe moldy. This ruined it for us. Aside from that, the lighting in the room was weird. No night light for the toilet area and if there was it would be bright because the toilet room has a frosted glass door. No USB plugs at all, so you need to bring power converters and USB power plugs if you are from the US. No elevator to the second floor so you have to lug your heavy bags up there. The bed is a low platform with twin mattresses so if you are trying to snuggle with your honey you have to deal with a crack. Also no sheet, just a blanket with a duvet cover on it. And that mattress was not very comfortable either. If they could improve over these issues I might think this “Boutique Hotel” quaint and cute, but at this time I mostly feel that it is dumpy and I would not stay here again.
