About the university
Al Qasimia University was established under a royal decree issued by HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, for 2013, on the establishment of an Islamic, Arab University in the Emirate of Sharjah under the name of “Al Qasimia University".

The House of Manuscripts is an intellectual monument and a cultural beacon in the region as a whole, linking the past to the present. It was established under the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah as his great interest in manuscripts. The House is connected to the main network of Al Qasimia University. The house consists of two stores; the ground store contains an office, a theater for seminars and specialized scientific courses, in addition to the technical departments
