Analysing data along a continuous patient pathway and involving different healthcare providers often proves to be a difficult hurdle to overcome. The aim of Smart FOX is to increase the efficiency of clinical research by improving the secondary use of health data. It targets to accompany the development of future data donation infrastructure while ultimately advancing clinical research efficiency and bolstering Austria's preparedness for the European Health Data Space. 📝 A study is being conducted to examine various aspects of health data donation from different perspectives. 🌟 Advancing Health Through Innovation at the Innovation Day Ljubljana 2024 🌟  Last week, I had the privilege of hosting a cutting-edge session at the Innovation Day Ljubljana 2024, alongside Ferenc Pongracz, PhD, MBA, PMP Pongracz, Deputy Managing Director of EIT Health InnoStars. Together, we explored how healthcare innovation can make smart cities even smarter! 🩺 Our session brought together a group of experts to explore how health innovation intersects with advanced manufacturing and smart city ecosystems, with contributions from:  - Nick Guldemond (Leiden University Medical Center) on translating new technologies into healthcare systems  - Alenka Rozaj (Slovenian Innovation Hub and Strategic Research and Innovation Partnership on Health and Medicine) on importance of collaboration - Mark Plesko (Cosylab) on harnessing AI and big data for medical breakthroughs - Milena Argirovic (Takeda) on health and medicine in the context of smart cities and advanced manufacturing. 🌍 This special event highlighted the transformative potential of cross-disciplinary collaboration to address critical health issues. From AI-powered medical tools to advanced health technologies, the discussions reaffirmed a collective commitment to building smarter, healthier communities. ✨ Speaking of collaboration: I was thrilled by the invitation of the Jozef Stefan Institute and the Strategic Research and Innovation Partnerships around Health and Medicine, Smart Cities and Communities and Factories of the Future, that boost Slovenias innovation efforts: the team around Igor Kovač has brought an amazing event together.
