In my days working for Nokia I got to visit my customers In India many times over around a 3.5 year period. If you haven't been to India, you should - it's one of the most amazing cultural experiences you can ever have, many because of you're from Europe or Australia it's completely different..... but in a very good way! Anyone who has been will know that driving in a car in cities within India can be more nerve tingling than a rollercoaster, mainly because you aren't on rails and you have no idea what anyone else on the road are going to do. This is why spending time yesterday with the entrepreneurial team from India (from Vellore Institute of Technology, including Vaishnavi T. and Suseth Menon) who won the La Trobe University Technology Infusion Grand Challenge. They are developing a solution to reduce the number of DUI incidents in India through developing their own product and service. During the four hours together, we started by refining their strategy using our Strategy Quadrant Framework. Looking in particular how their competition is the current way of working and how you measure your impact. Also who is the target customer (who will pay) and the ecosystem that will benefit. Finally plenty on discussion on pricing and go to market strategies, particularly working through channels Then we used the 25eight Six Pillars of Pitching Framework to create a compelling story that everyone can connect with. Thanks to Scott Harding and Diana Heatherich for the opportunity to work with the team.
