PROJECT UPDATE | Finishing touches are being applied at Pascoe Vale Primary School! Stage 3 encompasses the construction of a new competition-grade gymnasium and basketball facility designed by Kosloff Architecture featuring a striking brick façade along Cumberland Road. The scope also comprises extensive landscaping, playground, repositioning of an existing relocatable, and demolition of the existing Building B. We’re thrilled to share that the Clyde Recreation Reserve Redevelopment, delivered for the City of Casey Council, has been awarded the 2024 AFL Victoria Best Community Facilities Project Award! The AFL Victoria Best Community Football Facilities Project Award is announced annually to recognise best practice in community football facility development across the state, along with the people, clubs and other stakeholders driving the best projects in Victoria. The redevelopment features: - Three Australian Rules football/cricket ovals - Two multipurpose pavilions - Eight tennis courts - Two netball courts These facilities address the growing demand for active open spaces in the City of Casey, increasing participation in sport and providing a vibrant hub for the community to enjoy. Since moving back to the reserve, the Clyde Cougars Football Club has seen incredible growth, welcoming 86 new registered participants, including 44 new female players—a fantastic outcome for community sport 🏉🎾 #2construct #construction #sportandrecreation #melbournebuilder #melbourneconstruction #constructionindustry #afl

The Melbourne Basket Brigade, led by Alex Fitzgerald from JLF Group of Companies, is a dedicated group of volunteers helping locals in need. In 2024, they're preparing and delivering anonymous baskets of food and essentials to families, arriving just in time for Christmas 🎁🎅🎄 On Wednesday, 2Construct joined forces with JLF, 94 Feet Pty Ltd, and Neoscape to support the Melbourne Basket Brigade this holiday season. Stage 1 has been completed and opened up to the public with with stage 2 coming close to completion. PROJECT COMPLETE | Toorak Park has received an upgrade 🚀 The scope of work comprised the design & construction of a new shared-use pavilion featuring a brick facade, feature clock overlooking the new development, meeting and function rooms, storage facilities, kitchen and kiosk and amenities including female friendly changerooms. The scope of work also included landscaping to the surrounds of the main pavilion and car park works. PROJECT COMPLETE | Last week, the 2C team attended the grand opening of Glenroy West Primary School! The redevelopment of the Glenroy West Primary School is to prepare for significant growth in the coming years. The ribbon was cut by Deputy Premier and Minister for Education of Victoria Ben Carroll, Member for Broadmeadows Kathleen Matthews-Ward and School Principal Pamela Streete. The scope of work comprised the construction of a new school support centre, middle school building, carpark expansion, landscaping works around sports field, relocation of existing modular buildings onsite, construction of Senior School building, refurbishment and extension of Specialist Learning Centre, Junior School building, general landscaping, civil, hardcourts, playgrounds and fencing. PROJECT UPDATE | 2Construct are landing the Hollowcore planks to close up the Yarrowee River culvert within Bridge Mall, Ballarat Central for our client Ballarat City Council 🚧 The complex works to replace the bridge are progressing – the works on the 153-year-old bridge are being done to ensure pedestrian and motorists' safety, as well as provide a certified load rating for the bridge to meet modern standards.
