Our environment gives us so much – fresh air to breathe, clean water to drink, and healthy soil to grow our food. 🍃🍂 But what if we could find out just how much our unique environment contributes to Australia’s wellbeing and economy? We’re working with the Australian Bureau of Statistics and CSIRO to do just that with the new National Ecosystems Account. The accounts will help us to: 💵 understand how important it is to our economy 👷♀️ measure our impact on nature 🌱 make better decisions to protect and restore it. Look out for the first release coming on 27 February 2025.
