About us

Bastion is an Australian resources company focused on exploring for high-grade at its 100% owned flagship ICE Copper Project located in Yukon, Canada, with a resource estimation completed 1998 resulting in non-classified resource of 4.56Mt @ 1.48% Cu. - Approx 3.4Mt mineralisation located near surface (within 25m). - Located less than 20km from a major provincial road and 220km north of provincial capital Whitehorse. - Extensive drilling confirmed high-grade sulphide core surrounded by halo containing thick lower-grade intersections. - Sulphide only resource estimated over a strike length of 450m and down dip extent of 220m yielding 1Mt @ 4.32% Cu The company has other highly prospective copper projects in the North West Territories, Canada and Sweden.

  • Commenting on todays ASX release and the potential exploration upside at the ICE Project, Executive Chairman, Mr Ross Landles said: “In parallel with our plan to release a maiden JORC-compliant resource, we are excited to highlight the significant potential exploration upside at the ICE Project. With less than 1% of the project area drilled outside of the resource, having identified 11 regional and resource extension targets, the potential for new discoveries is substantial, especially given the limited exploration along strike. We believe the untested geophysical and geochemical anomalies provide excellent drill targets, and we are confident in the future of the project as we continue our exploration efforts throughout 2025. We firmly believe the ICE Copper-Gold Project offers a highly prospective opportunity for the discovery of additional mineralised deposits. With substantial unexplored areas, combined with historical data that points to the potential for additional VHMS-style mineralisation, the Company is well-positioned to expand its resource base. The coming exploration activities, including advanced geophysical surveys, soil sampling, and drilling, will focus on unlocking the full potential of the Project.” #asx #copper

  • Today's ASX release reveals the identification of the high priority drill targets in Sweden following the ground magnetic survey, and Bastion’s Executive Chairman, Mr Ross Landles commented: “The recently completed Gyttorp magnetic survey defined the distribution of horizons with elevated REE and #copper content, showing the trends are longer and more continuous than initially identified. The finer resolution magnetic data, provided better definition and spatial resolution compared to the government airborne magnetic survey, enhancing our understanding of the mineralized structures. This has allowed us to define shallow drill targets for the project, targeting near-surface REE and copper. Drilling at the project will depend on the timing of activities on the ICE project in Canada, which also remains a priority focus for the Company. Initial exploration on the new properties recently granted along the REE line north of Gyttorp has now been completed3. These properties contain elevated REE and copper and have been prospected using a pXRF. Assay results from these samples will be reported when received from the laboratory.”

  • UP TO 18% REE & 24% COPPER pXRF ANALYSES IN REE LINE, SWEDEN - COINCIDING WITH HIGH MAGNETIC RESPONSES We are pleased to provide an update on its activities in Sweden, where the Company holds the highly prospective high-grade copper (Cu) and Rare Earth Elements (REE) Gyttorp area no. 100 property (Gyttorp Project or Gyttorp) and eight additional properties along the REE line. Commenting on the recently completed reconnaissance mapping and pXRF sampling program across new properties, Executive Chairman, Ross Landles, said: “The REE mineralisation in the newly granted properties is of the same skarn style as at Gyttorp, with similar high grade results. Given the extensive property holding along the REE Line, we will continue to conduct sampling and mapping across the properties, in order to establish the areas with the highest REE and Cu grades and the greatest thickness and length of mineralisation. This will allow us to rank the project areas and decide which is the highest priority for drilling.” “These properties have been prospected using a pXRF and assay results from these samples will be reported when received from the laboratory later this month.”

  • We are pleased to have released our updated presentation on our highly prospective Copper and REE portfolio across Canada and Sweden. Full presentation released to the ASX is attached and we draw investors attention to the slides 26 and 27 (Opportunity and game changing catalysts for shareholders) for the strong pipeline of expected news flow this quarter and and next, including our maiden JORC MRE. Our flagship ICE Copper project contains a resource estimation completed 1998 resulting in non-classified resource of 4.56Mt @ 1.48% Cu and with just 15% of the tenure systematically explored, we see significant upside in this resource. • Bastion Minerals Ltd (ASX:BMO, Bastion or the Company) is pleased to provide an update on the increased prospectivity of the recently acquired Mariner project in the Northwest Territories (NWT) where the Company has appointed Aurora Geoscience to prepare an exploration program to follow up and gain a better understanding of a “large mineralised quartz vein” and the overall potential of the project. Commenting on the review of the Mariner project, Executive Chairman, Ross Landles, said: “With the advanced ICE project located in the Yukon, which has a historical foreign non-JORC resource defined, being a strong focus for the Company, I am thrilled with the increased potential of the Mariner project to host a high-grade copper deposit based on historical data. Not only has historical drilling returned some very high grade shallow copper intersections, up to 18.4% Cu, but we are keen to better understand the large >520m mineralised quartz vein, identified by previous owners, however no additional detail exists of the mineralisation noted. Whilst copper is a strong focus, we are buoyed by the result of our immediate neighbour, ASX listed White Cliff Minerals Ltd, who has already established a presence in the area and recently announced rock chip finding up to 75,439g/t Ag and 13.6% Cu that produced 34,200,000oz of refined silver (refer WCN announcement of 27 August 2024 and footnote 3 herein).” “We look forward to engaging with the First Nations and to Aurora defining a work plan for this heavily under explored property and note the results are not known to have been followed up since the original drilling, presenting an extremely exciting opportunity for Bastion.” #asx #copper #canada #yukon

  • Bastion Minerals Ltd (ASX:BMO) today released a significant update on its recently acquired High-grade ICE Copper Project with a historical, foreign non-JORC resource of 4.56 Mt @1.48% Cu in theYukon Territory, Canada.. Commenting on locating the original drill core on site the ICE Project, Executive Chairman, Mr Ross Landles, said: “Locating the original drill core at the ICE site is a tremendous positive for the Company and will be of great assistance in the attempt to update the historical resource to a JORC (2012) compliant Resource. On site, we are confirming the locations of the historical drill holes, as part of validating the historical, foreign, non-JORC resource. We are undertaking re-assay of core intervals, to validate the original assaying, and to obtain gold results which were not assayed in all original assays. The Project has untested drill targets on EM geophysics and geochemical targets, to discover new high-grade mineralised lenses to increase the project size. We look forward to providing shareholders with updates regarding the progress of activities on this exciting copper opportunity, which has the potential to be a game changer for Bastion.” #asx #copper

  • Bastion Minerals Limited (ASX: BMO) commences studies on its high-grade ICE Canadian copper project (ICE or ICE Project), with historical, foreign non- JORC resource potentially amenable to open pit mining. Mineralisation starts from surface, and continues down dip to a depth of approximately 200 m below surface. Historical evaluation defined a resource of 3.4Mt of the 4.56Mt historical foreign resource within the historical open pit estimate. The historical pit was not optimised for the economic value of mineralisation and was defined in 1998, at a time of historical low copper price of around US$0.78 per pound. #asx #copper #mining #openpit #yukon #canada
