Earlier this year, Beyond Bank undertook an ESG (Environment, Sustainability and Governance) double materiality assessment to understand the financial and wider "E" and "S" impacts on our stakeholders and customers. This was a large packet of work for our Sustainability team. 35 senior leaders participated in our internal interviews, along with valuable input from representatives from our Executive team and Board and other external partners. Today is International Day of People with Disability, a day that promotes community awareness and understanding of people with disability. Beyond Bank strives to improve inclusion for people living with a disability. We developed a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan for FY2024-2026 to help us stay on track with our goals to improve accessibility and equitable support for people with disabilities. Some strides we’ve made include: * Backing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program with grants, staff training and sunflower merchandise to better support customers living with disability * Supporting the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra to deliver relaxed, sensory-friendly concerts for people with disabilities * Providing a grant to build a sensory garden to support students with diverse and complex learning needs in Willans Hill School in Wagga Wagga.
