On Sunday, we celebrated Christmas with our Victorian employees and their families at Emu Bottom Homestead Sunbury. A memorable day for everyone, with fun activities including camel and pony rides, jumping castle, animal nursery, face painting, and even a game of tug of war. Of course, we also had a very special visit from Santa. As a business fuelled by family and inspired by our people, this celebration was a true testament to that spirit. Thank you to our team and families for their continued support throughout 2024; and joining us to celebrate! #BildGroup #EmuBottomHomestead #CivilInfrastructure #ChristmasCelebrations

Great share from our client Major Road Projects Victoria on mitigating service strikes. As part of our ongoing commitment to the safety of our crews and the public, BildGroup is continually looking at how we can eliminate the possibility of a service strike. Combining robust processes with the use of latest technologies, allows us to stay clear of live services. We’re proud to be putting this into practice on Stage 2 of the Pakenham Roads Upgrade, which we’re delivering on behalf of MRPV. #Partnerships
External factors such as inaccurate records and maps, unforeseen landscape changes and human error contribute to service strikes across our industry. Major Road Projects Victoria, together with North East Link, are working closely with construction partners to continuously improve processes and practices aimed at eliminating underground service strikes, which impact local communities, cause disruptions, delay project completion, and increase costs. Hear more from CEO, Duncan Elliott, and contractors Spark North East Link Tunnels D&C and BildGroup about our commitment in the video below. Saturday 9th of November was Road Worker Day of Remembrance. A day to reflect and pay tribute to road workers who have lost their lives while working. It's important to remember everyone deserves to come home safely at the end of the day. Sadly, too many road workers have died simply doing their jobs. Let's drive safely and show respect for these men and women. #RWDOR #Remembrance #Safety #BildGroup #CivilInfrastructure

Here at Bild, we’re all about the communities we work and live in. Recently our team on Stage 2 of the Pakenham Roads Upgrade, delivered by BildGroup on behalf of Major Road Projects Victoria, celebrated the end of their major works on McGregor Road by being part of the fun and festivities at the Heritage Shopping Centre’s Community Day. On a sunny Saturday, over 6,000 Pakenham locals wandered through the shopping centre and took part in activities like face painting, balloon making, sing alongs and meeting some of our colder blooded animal friends. Future construction workers could even have a turn at being an excavator operator on MRPV's mini-excavator activation, as well as check out BildGroup's own Loader to see what it takes to be a specialised operator. Local traders and communities are at the heart of what we do and build ❤️ #PeoplePartnershipsProgress #BildGroup #CivilInfrastructure #LocalCommunity

Congratulations to Neil Harvey for winning the SA Flexible Pavement Field Worker Award 2024 at the SA National Australian Flexible Pavement Association (AfPA) Industry Awards. The award category was based on experience within the Industry, mechanical expertise, mentorship, major project involvement, client recognition and commitment to safety. Neil has over 25 years of experience as a profiler operator, including a background in mechanics, and has worked for Bitu-mill (A BildGroup Company) for the past 7 years. He travels to remote sites to repair plant and equipment, sharing his deep industry knowledge along the way. With his calm and steady approach, he’s become a valued mentor and trainer to others. Congratulation to all nominees and thank you, Neil for all your hard work and dedication, an award so well deserved! #PeoplePartnershipsProgressPotential #CivilInfrastructure

BildGroup’s values of People, Partnerships, Progress and Potential came into play when our team out on the Pakenham Roads Upgrade came together with our client Major Road Projects Victoria and held an educational planting day for Pakenham Springs Primary School students, giving new life to an underutilised section of the school. BildGroup and MRPV with 30 Grade 5 students planted over 300 native plants, creating a garden, complete with an insect hotel, that will be a lasting legacy serving current and future students and contributing to Pakenham’s wildlife corridors. We were honoured that traditional land custodian and Bunurong elder Mark Brown played the Yidaki, as well as provided a Welcome to Country. A good old sausage sizzle was on offer for students after a hard day’s work, which was kindly cooked by the Pakenham Rotary Club. Scroll through the pics to see before and afters, as well as Bunurong elder Mark Brown play the Yidaki. #WildLifeCorridors #CardiniaShireCouncil #NativeGardens
