BINGO is a leading recycling and waste management company providing services across NSW, VIC and QLD. We recover millions of tonnes of materials each year, manufacture recycled product to support a circular economy and prevent waste from ending up in landfill. BINGO is pushing new ground to help businesses and communities work towards a Waste Free Australia.
After announcing in July that I was planning to move on from BINGO INDUSTRIES after eight eventful years, I am now finishing up this week.
To the brilliant people and teams across this business who are deeply connected to both the purpose of “Pushing for a Waste Free Australia” and each other, I have learned so much from you all and will cherish our time together.
I look forward to watching you all continue to live by the NEVER SAY NEVER value, push for excellence across the business and create positive change in the recycling and waste sector and our communities.
I wish all stakeholders nothing but the best for the future and thank the regulatory bodies, customers, and other key industry players for their ongoing support for the sector and our business. Together much can be done to deliver on our collective promise, to deliver the critical infrastructure we need for the future and protect our environment.
#Thankyou
BINGO Industries recently joined other industry leaders to participate in the Australian-Made Recovered Resources Showcase at Parliament House in Canberra.
A significant event, highlighting the sector’s investment and innovation in diverting waste from landfill, and displaying high quality recycled products that can be used more widely in the economy. ♻️ 🏗️ 🚉
It was also great for industry leaders to meet and discuss with our nation’s political leaders, the challenges and opportunities facing the resource recovery sector.
Our special thanks to Australian Council of Recycling (ACOR) and National Waste & Recycling Industry Council for organising this event.

Proud to join other industry partners in supporting ADCO Constructions recent community day activities in Melbourne. 🤝
A wonderful collaboration between all teams, to support projects at Central Park Childcare Centre, Koala Clancy Foundation and Launch Housing in Southbank and St Kilda East.
#Community#GivingBack
At ADCO, we believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work. Each year, our dedicated #PeoplewhoBuild step away from their roles to participate in ADCO’s Community Day, and this year’s event was a great example of our strong community focus.
Our VIC branch came together to support three incredible charities across four project sites: Central Park Childcare Centre, Koala Clancy Foundation, and Launch Housing in Southbank and East St Kilda. With the help of our valued trade partners, we dedicated a full day of time, resources, and expertise to make a meaningful impact.
Our community engagement efforts are proudly supported by the Brinsmead Hill Family Foundation, led by ADCO Director Tom Hill. Together, we commit nearly $1 million annually, including over 1,000 hours of staff time, to support local Australian communities.
A big thank you to our generous Trade Partners who contributed to this year’s Community Day:

Long-term success in the diversion of waste from landfills requires government, industries, and communities to work together to develop solutions that will protect our natural environment and help future generations thrive. 🌏 🌱 ♻
The emerging landfill cliff impacting Sydney provides an opportunity to take stock and improve our current policy settings, to address critical infrastructure challenges and enable stronger pathways for resource recovery.
BINGO commends the NSW Government for recognising this challenge and we look forward to working with Minister Penny Sharpe, Tony Chappel and the NSW Environment Protection Authority to help the state achieve its waste recovery targets and protect valuable resources from being sent to landfill.
We see this as a critical opportunity to embrace existing technology, streamline regulations and enable solutions to extend landfill capacity, whilst also supporting the growing needs of communities and industries in NSW who are already facing high energy and commercial costs.
Landfilling waste should be the absolute last resort. BINGO’s business model is underpinned by optimising the diversion of waste from landfill and keeping resources in circulation as long as possible.
We continue to lead from the front. We’ve invested over $1 billion in advanced recycling technology and assets, and our Eastern Creek and Patons Lane precincts are transforming the NSW construction and demolition landscape by maximising the diversion of waste from landfill for major building and infrastructure projects. 🏗 🏘
We’re also expanding our innovation pathways to address problematic waste streams and investing in building long-term offtake partnerships to facilitate the transition to a circular economy.
Our vision for a Waste Free Australia is also leading us to become a major manufacturer of alternate fuels which are used to replace coal and gas in industrial applications. This is directly leading to emissions reductions for both us and our customers.
The opportunities are immense and governments, in collaboration with industry, can play a critical role in building a stronger circular economy. This includes improving procurement frameworks and policy levers to facilitate the greater uptake of recycled products, a waste levy framework that incentivises further investment in recycling infrastructure; embracing safe technology and solutions to extend the lifecycle of existing landfills, and; enforcing compliance to target the illegal disposal of waste.

🌏 ♻ At BINGO, we are passionate about maximising the diversion of waste from landfills and keeping materials in circulation as long as possible.
Landfill space is finite. That is why this year’s theme, “Join the Cycle” is important, and provides useful tips and resources to reduce your waste footprint and keep valuable materials out of landfill.
Landfilling waste should be the absolute last resort and so we are focused on solving what we refer to as “the last mile” – the 15-20% of residual material that we’re currently unable to reuse or recycle.
Our focus on this “last mile” of waste recovery has led to long term offtake partnerships and investment in recycling infrastructure to support greater waste recovery rates.
This National Recycling Week let’s continue to push towards higher recycling rates and keep valuable resources out of our landfills.

We are honoured to support Lendlease for their Community Day activities and their outreach this year for Giant Steps Australia.
Fantastic to see Lendlease volunteers and industry partners team up to improve facilities to support Giant Steps' Adult Autism Services program. #community

I’m incredibly proud of BINGO INDUSTRIES’s role in supporting the REvive program and to see the positive long-term impact of the program on our community.
REvive is a model example of how industry participants can partner with Government and help break down barriers to build meaningful employment and mentoring opportunities for First Nations’ ex-offenders.
Cindy’s journey is an inspiration to our BINGO INDUSTRIES family and highlights her incredible determination and perseverance to achieve a positive future.
We will continue to strengthen our partnership with Yalagan Group Training and Corrective Services NSW, to support Djurwa Recycling and Waste Management’s leadership of the REvive program, and help create greater employment and training pathways for our First Nations’ communities.
