  • 🌟 10 Years of CEOs for Gender Equity Last week, we gathered to honour a decade of CEOs for Gender Equity—a community of forward-thinking leaders united by purpose and impact. Together with our dedicated members, toolkit partners, and friends of CGE, we celebrated not only our shared achievements but the transformative vision that guides our future. The evening was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when driven leaders commit to change. We were inspired by a heartfelt address from founding member Yvonne Henderson, who reminded us of our beginnings, and we were honoured to have the support of the Honourable Sue Ellery MLC. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone, standing behind our mission, and believing in the impact we’re driving. Here’s to the next 10 years—filled with bold innovation, deeper community, and measurable change. #CEOs #GenderEquity #CGE10Years

  • Did you know that, until 1966, a married woman in Australia couldn’t continue as a minister or in the public service? It’s shocking, but that was the reality. In this powerful episode, Hon. Sue shares the role of leadership in driving change and how policies can reshape our society and the importance of involving men in the gender equity conversation and why their engagement is key to achieving lasting change. Sue’s personal journey of breaking barriers, her approach to fostering inclusive leadership, and her insights on the next generation’s role in advancing equity will leave you inspired to take action. With practical advice on leadership, policy, and everyday actions, this episode is a must-listen for anyone committed to making a difference. • Challenging stereotypes starts with leadership—and the results can be transformative. Peter Bennett, Chair of CEOs for Gender Equity and CEO of Clough, opens up about the stigma men face when taking parental leave, often labelled as “soft” for prioritising family. At Clough, they addressed this head-on. The result? Male parental leave went from 0% uptake to a 50/50 split. This transformation wasn’t instant. It came through bold decisions, purposeful action, and a deep commitment to breaking barriers in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Peter shares how he is applying this mindset and actions across the business. 👀 Curious how they made it happen? Keep an eye out for our upcoming success story, where we unpack the strategies behind this cultural transformation. 🎧 Ready to get inspired?
