A survey of 4,000+ retirement village residents pushes back on the National Broadcaster's 7.30 report claims of “corporatised elder abuse,” with most understanding their contracts and 90% recommending village life. However, there is still room for improvement - 17% of residents didn’t discuss their contract with family, and 13% made decisions entirely on their own, without input from advisors or loved ones.
