Delta’s Inaugural Employee Awards Night was held last Wednesday at Kooindah Waters.  On the night, we celebrated the achievements of 40 finalist who had been nominated by their peers for seven key awards.  The finalists came from all areas of the business and represented a wide range of groups and positions.   We were also able to recognise the important role that our peer nominations have played in helping us build a culture of recognition, by including each finalist’s nominator in the night’s celebrations.    Congratulations to the award winners and finalists.  Your commitment and hard work are truly appreciated, and we are proud to have you as part of our team.   #RewardsandRecognition #DeltaAwardsNight

As we move closer to the festive season and the New Year, November is brings attention to something incredibly important. MOVEMBER. At Delta, we're proud to see our teams go above and beyond, especially in the mental health space. This month, our focus has been on raising awareness and supporting one another. A key highlight was our Morning Tea event, where we saw one of our Mental Health First Aid employees Josh, share his personal journey. He spoke openly about the challenges he's faced, the changes he's made to better understand himself and how he's now helping others by offering a listening ear and connecting them to the resources they need. Josh also highlighted the importance of men’s physical health — an issue that resonates deeply in our industry, where male representation is strong. It's crucial to shed light on both mental and physical well-being. It has been an extremely busy couple of months with major maintenance taking place at our Vales Point Power Station.   Our teams across the business have been working around the clock, with plenty of additional support, to get these major maintenance works completed! It’s truly been ‘all hands on deck’ as we ensure everything is running at its best.   Did you know, so far, we have… ✅ Had 673 people on-site, with 52 contractor companies! ✅ An impressive number of items used, over 55,700 in total! ✅ 551 permits to work issued to ensure safe access to the plant!   At Delta, we are extremely proud of our people, the last couple of months are a testament to the hard work, collaboration, and dedication of everyone involved.   A huge thank you to everyone! #EnergyCareers #Collaboration #PlantMaintenance
