Empathetic AI

The best thing about being a startup founder is that you have to be super practical. Nothing is theoretical, because you need to be constantly iterating, adapting, and figuring things out. Happy to have contributed to the AI Application course, where Darshana Shah and I shared the framework, methodologies, and practical examples from finance and healthcare to show how AI use cases can be built and adopted in the workplace. The course was recently released at the Institute of Applied Technology, and it was a great pleasure collaborating with the amazing team, Matilda Fay, Steve King, Chaitali Samani and the reviewing committee. With 99.8% of businesses in Australia classified as SMEs, increasing AI literacy without the technical jargon is important to helping these businesses adopt AI in practical and impactful ways. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this initiative.

The Australian Financial Review recently revealed Australia’s Top 100 Accounting Firms for 2024, and one key trend stood out: firms using AI grew 50% faster than those that didn’t. Nearly half of these firms reported leveraging AI tools. https://lnkd.in/gmgRDkeX. Domain experts play a vital role in refining Luna's responses for relevance and precision, verifying each component’s accuracy. Key measures include retrieval accuracy, content faithfulness, and clarity. Continuous feedback from human reviewers also keeps Luna’s responses reliable and user-aligned.
